The Zoe has a very unassuming frontage, but don’t let that put you off. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and the breakfast was one of the best that we have ever had. To be clear it was EXCELLENT, the home made croissants were exceptional as were the home made bread and mini pancakes and as this had been preceded by greasy fruit and granola we did not even get to the cooked section. The breakfast is served in what used to be the bistro, which is now closed, but it is a pleasant environment. Greg and Barbara are excellent hosts, we will definitely be back. Parking is on the street, but there is plenty of space as Kilrush has very wide roads

We loved how welcoming and friendly the owner was upon our arrival, and appreciated all her tips about where to eat that night! It was great to be able to come back and enjoy a couple of pints downstairs, before going up to bed, while still having peace and quiet up in our room. The location is excellent and the rooms are lovely.

A nice quiet location with our room overlooking an old castle across the inlet. Gareth and Patrica supplied a great breakfast to set us up for the day to explore the area.
The Bay View offers fantastic views of Kilkee Bay and Cliffs, this 19th-century house is situated in the seaside town of Kilkee. It offers light, cosily furnished rooms and full Irish breakfasts.

Lovely old building. Large rooms but dated. In middle of town. Secure parking
We love Kilrush!! Found this little town 7 years ago and we always visit when we travel to Ireland. 3 times now. There are so many things to see around the area, Kilkee Cliffs are beautiful along with the countryside. If you want a good sense of what Ireland is like this area has it all. Cliffs, country side, small towns, fantastic people, Central Shoe Store and Patrick's Men Shop are a must to shop in and great food! We will be back!! There is a great coffee shop in Kilkee up the road "The Pantry" wonderful morning goodies.

Very enjoyable time here - loved our trip out to Scattery Island, would highly recommend. The Vandeleur walled garden is also worth a visit. With more time we would have explored more of the coastal areas in and around Kilrush.

The Scattery Island tour is a must!
The Scattery Island tour is a must! Great to boat over and walk the island, tour operators are very noce and friendly.
Kilrush downtown area itself is quaint and a number of spots to enjoy food and drink often outside. Very easy to shop for any items needed a short walk away, Great retreat for less hustle and less bustle.

Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush.
Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush. If you are looking for a true Irish village that few travelers visit, this is the place. It is quaint, and quite, but we had fun shopping and hanging with the locals at the pubs. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We scored some good shopping without a tourist markup, since they do not get too many many, and ate great food. I would absolutely recommend staying in Kilrush and taking the Shannon Ferry to County Kerry for the shortcut route to Dingle. It is absolutely Charming and a step back in time.

Good stopover for 1 night before we caught the Shannon ferry the following morning. Pub meal at Crottys Pub was okay - not a lot of variety but okay for a quick meal. Parking available in the street for free which was handy.

A good hub from which to tour the area.
A good hub from which to tour the area. The trip to Scattery Island is well worthwhile. Good road network for visiting other sights in the vicinity. While there are quite a few take-aways, our greatest disappointment was the shortage of good restaurants in the town.
Ethne was an amazing host, genuinely lovely lady. The apartment is immaculately clean, it has absolutely everything you could possibly need - washing machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher. The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in. It's easy to find, excellent location, no noise at night. Better than any 4* hotel I've ever stayed in, couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Very authentic and unique get ready to step back in time with all the mod cons this an excellent place to stay in the center of all things close to the center of town you get transported to a time gone past and as you look out of the sitting room windows on to the beautiful square in Kilrush you feel like you are the merchant watching for you goods to arrive in to Capps
Depending on your travel plans in Ireland, the location can be perfect. Kilrush isn’t a touristy town, and kind of blue collar, but it’s a great location to get back to Dublin the next day without paying the high tourist town prices. And we’re so glad we did the Cliffs of Kilkee instead of Moher (a tip from our host). Beautiful and we had them to ourselves at sunset!!’
We hoped to find a B&B that was associated with a Pub, and we were happy to stay here. Our room had a view of the central town square, yet it was very quiet during the night. Breakfast was plentiful, but the best part was having a drink in a the Pub that catered mainly to locals.
Stayed here with the family and the house was perfect. Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for the kids and the hot tube is an added bonus. House is in a good location just outside Kilrush and a short drive to Kilkee. Would highly recommend for a group.
Self catering cottage over looking beautiful marina views, comfortable, peaceful place. The Host's Mary and Sean were excellent, they charmed us with they're knowledge, historical history and having played apart in making Kilrush a wonderful place to be.
House was warm and well equipped. Older property, but had wifi, skyq, netflix. Full kitchen, and a nice welcome cake on arrival. Stunning view from sitting room window. Short drive to ferry - so both Clare and Kerry at your doorstep.
We had a very nice full Irish breakfast. The host was friendly and helpful and the location was excellent, right in the middle of the town. Although the accommodation was next to the Pub (which was not very active) , the room was quiet.
Great location in the heart of the small town of Kilrush. The rooms are large and the staff was great. The breakfast was delicious. And the food and atmosphere in the pub below (which guests have a private entrance to) were excellent.
Location was excellent but was not in Kilrush as advertised and what I booked on the Booking.com website.
I have complained about the misleading site but have not received a proper response. Can’t get through to them????
.Wonderful welcome at this spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation. Attached restaurant has a great menu and food is simply delicious and all at a very reasonable cost
Thank you to our friendly host and chef Gregg.
Very central location with shops and restaurants/pubs being in a 2-5 min walk. TV in each room. Air fryer and all the regular kitchen utensils are available. Aldi is literally a 2 minute walk.
The location and property suited what we wanted and was really nice, clean and bright. The host was very helpful to us, when we needed her. We will go back when we are in Kilrush again.
My sister and I were on an ancestry trip in County Clare. This location was right where we need to begin our search. it also provided a place to relax and unwind at the end of each day.
hosts we amazing! the accommodations were comfortable and clean. we decided to have breakfast at their restaurant before checking out and it was THE BEST decision, fantastic !
The perfect place to stay in Kilrush ! The room was beautiful, fully equipped, comfortable and the host (Greg) is really involved to make sure you have a great stay.
central location in Kilrush. no car park for the pub but on street parking was easy enough. very good breakfast. and the pub food for the evening meal was brilliant.
