Excellent position within walking distance of the ferry. The house was in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the best pub/restaurant on the island. On arrival there was a welcome pack including bread, milk and a bottle of wine. Our host Alison was available at all times and very friendly.

The glamping pods were great. The area was peaceful despite most of the pods being occupied with people. The kitchenette was smaller than I expected but it had everything I needed.

We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay here. Brenda was very friendly, very accommodating, and helped us to have the best time at Inis Mor. The place itself was super cute and cosy, there was a big comfortable lounge, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with nice beds. The breakfast was delicious, especially the porridge. All the staff were so friendly, I can't praise it enough! We will hopefully be back one day soon and I will be recommending this business to friends/family. Thank you all again for looking after us so well.

We highly highly recommend Aran Bike Hire - they couldn't have been nicer kitting us out with bikes.
Then, when we had a non bike related wrist break, Michael & team came to our rescue - driving the patient to meet the on-call doc; then to our accommodation to wait for the ferry & then directly to the ferry with an ambulance to meet us in Rossaveal. We really appreciated the Aran islanders' care and warmth - we felt treated as family.
It came as no surprise to us to hear from AnnMarie that the islanders sponsor the annual visit of the Little Blue Heroes Foundation charity for ill children and their families.

A great experience of the old Irish way full of culture and the traditional way of life. Joe wattys and the Bar are great for a meal and a drink with lots of options I'm getting around the island with bus/pony tours and electric bikes to offer.

Had a wonderful adventure on Inishmore.
Had a wonderful adventure on Inishmore. While small, the people were warm and welcoming. Climbing Dum Aengus was one of the best things we’ve ever done- though not easy - worth it!
The food at The Bar was very good and the owner very lovely. Found food all over Ireland to be vastly better than previous trips. Enjoy - life is short- play hard🙃

Best food is at The Bar or Joe Wattys, music in the bar is from 7 till 9 and from 9 till 11 at wattys but seats fill up quick. Take a bike if you can to visit seal colony, kilmurvey beach and dun aonghasa ring fort. Walk up is a bit dodgy with loose or slippery stones and definitely don’t go too close to the cliff edge if it’s windy but worth it for the views alone. If you don’t fancy the exercise then there are plenty of pony and traps or mini bus trips to the main sites of interest. If you like the sound of birdsong, fields full of wildflowers and the trip trap of a pony down narrow roads this place is for you. It can get busy in the village when the ferry is due but it gives it a bit of life. Tip if staying overnight you get free entry to dun ainghusa and if you have free travel pass you can get free ferry crossing with Aran island ferries if you call in advance.

We decided to stay 2 nights here which I feel was enough for us, though I know we did not see all of the sights the island had to offer. We booked the Aran Offroad Tour with Aengus for a 5 hour trip. Pick up was easy and he took us on roads that the other tour buses don't/can't go on. He gave us a great tour with lots of info about the history and landscape of this island and took us to the Worm Hole. If you like mussels, The Bar right beside the sweater market has awesome mussels in white wine sauce. My hubby had the chicken Schnitzel and it was very good as well. We also are at the Aran islands hotel, but felt the food was just ok ( we had the burgers). We chose not to rent bikes but it appeared that most people enjoyed this option is they weren't on a tour bus and there were loads of bikes to rent at the rental shops. Also, if your a diver, there is a dive shop here, but e didn't know this and this didn't bring our dive cards. Concerning the ferry, if you don't want to be wet, sit below in the covered area. It was a sunny crossing from Doolin for us and no one told us about the splashing, so, after several giant sprays to the face and some wet clothes, we moved below. Also, if the seas are a bit rough, sit as close to the middle/back as you can. Several people were very sick on the way back to Doolin. We did not get to the other 2 island so not sure what there is to see.

Perfect place to stay for some R&R in a little peice of paradise, also a lot of history with ancient monuments within easy walking distance.
When the day tourists leave the whole island is so peaceful.
The only downside to the island is evening meals, they tend to be very boring burger and chips style, even the fish and chips were frozen which is a great pitty for an island surrounded by water?
We found the best food was to had at the Inishmore Hotel *****
The owner Geraldine went out on a limb
to ensure we had the perfect break away in Kilronan and on Inis Mor which is my favourite place to holiday in Ireland . This B&B is perfectly located in the heart of Kilronan and a stroll from the Ferry and best restaurants on the Island.
A big shout out and thank you to Geraldine for accommodating our specific needs and for rectifying an oversight when making the booking which she didn’t have to do, such thoughtfulness and generosity
are rare and enlightening . 🙏
Staying outside the only town with commerce, Kilronan, made our one-night trip to the remote island feel even more special. Our room was perfect, breakfast was excellent, and the innkeeper could not have been more friendly and helpful. Being on Inishmore overnight allowed us to experience the island and its sights without the day trippers, and the highlight of that was visiting Dun Aenghasa, the Bronze Age fort that is just steps from Kilmurvey House, and visible from our bedroom.
The room was charming, clean and spacious with a lovely view. It was lovely spending a rainy day wrapped in the blanket, sitting in front of the window. The shower worked great and it was quiet at night.
Breakfast was exceptional, generous and delicious, with table service.
Hosts and staff were absolutely lovely and their bus service to Kilronan is a treat, giving Kilmurvey House the feel of a somewhat secluded place as well as easily accessible.
Thank you for everything!
Everything was exceptional for our stay! Alison was simply a wonderful host and the Chalet Home was exceptional in every way; location, comfort with plenty of room for our party of three, ease of use, and even a terrific bottle of wine and assorted snack items in the kitchen upon our arrival. This home is less than a 1-minute walk to a great restaurant/pub and only a few minutes walk to the Kilronan post office and small village center.
Just a short walk from the pier makes the location ideal. being a few steps from Joe Watts’s makes the location fantastic! The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was large with a wonderful shower. The room was spotless and smelled lovely. Bartley was a wonderful host, and prepared a perfect breakfast!
The room was basic but it had everything that we needed. Good sized family room and was comfortable for the 3 of us. The food was excellent and the breakfast buffet was delicious and set us up each day. Great evening menu and the views from the hotel are simply amazing.
Aran Island Hotel is amazing. We stayed in a chalet which had everything we needed. A bus was at the ferry to pick us up and drop us back. The staff couldn't be nicer. A great selection for breakfast and entertainment both nights in the bar. We loved our stay.
Our stay at Hotel Clai Ban on Inis Mor was delightful. Everything was fine, and we especially enjoyed starting our day with a delicious Irish breakfast. The cozy atmosphere made our experience memorable. We would definitely recommend it to visiting the island.
The location was very close (a few minutes walk) to the pier and downtown Kilronan market. Geraldine, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great.
Breakfast was self service buffet. Lovely fresh fruit, bread, eggs, yogurt, cereal and jams. You could use kitchen at any time. Also had use of sitting room. Location was less than15 minutes walk from Kilronan.
The hostess Treassa was so welcoming and lovely, she offered to dry our clothes after getting in from the rain, and her scones were absolutely delicious. Probably the best hotel experience I've ever had!
Breakfast was great. Dietary requirements were easily accommodated and staff were helpful and friendly. The location on the island was excellent. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel.
