An unexpected delight and sad that we only stayed the one night. A lovely peaceful place to stay and made to feel very welcome. We had an early ferry crossing so missed the cooked breakfast but we were able to enjoy a good selection of other options including warm croissants and toast. We even had goodie bags for any that wanted to eat on our trip which was very thoughtful. The homemade bread was delicious! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great when we arrived so didn’t fully appreciate the beautiful garden however it did clear to enjoy a lovely sunset from it. We walked down to Mary Barry’s Bar for our evening meal and what a delicious dinner! I need to come back again to enjoy for longer.

Absolutely fantastic little spot! So comfortable, warm and spacious, like a home away from home. Fresh muffins went down a treat and a lovely set up for breakfast with fresh fruit/cereal and basically anything you could need. The bnb was SPOTLESS, with a gorgeous big bathroom, we will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone visiting the kilmore area.

History in the area, from Norman invasion to modern Irish emancipation was very interesting.
Loved the area and will be back.
Driving around the country lanes and discovering ancient buildings and quirky folk art was a great day of exploring.
