I stayed as part of my working week, just two nights. my first night i arrived late, but was still met by the host, which i did not expect but was very grateful for. It was small but nicely decorated, warm, cozy & had everything i needed. I would stay there again.

The hotel is beautifully presented and well maintained.
The hotel is beautifully presented and well maintained. The staff could not offer any more assistance than they did, always going that extra which makes the difference when deciding if we are willing to go back. I could not recommend this hotel more and will definitely be going back but for a longer stay.

The apartment was fully furnished with high end sofas, beds, bed linen, towels etc. The heating was on a timer and came on throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and they had even left coffee, tea, sugar etc. It was a two minute walk to The Heritage Hotel which we ate in (gorgeous food) and there are plenty of lovely walks in the area. The apartment even has a lift! A beautiful apartment to stay in. We will definitely be back again soon.

Was our 2nd choice as I bungled the original booking at another venue. But so glad I did, as this hotel turned out to be exceptional, and beyond what we expected. Upon arrival, we were met by the friendly Joanna and Siobhan, and made to feel right at home. When entering our room, we were immediately impressed with the size, and the décor, plus an impressive bathroom. Went for a swim and hot tub, and then off to dinner at Seven, which offered generous portions, tasty as well, and at reasonable prices. Breakfast was great, and the staff at Blakes were also super friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and will definitely return again.

Beautiful location and hotel. Our problem was the room was like a sauna so much so we couldn’t use the twin room and had to sleep in the living room. So disappointed for us. Also lift access not working!! Poor! We did notify the receptionist o checking out

Our stay in the Heritage Hotel was relaxing and very enjoyable.The restaurant in the hotel was first class.The spa experience at the hotel is to be recommended for both young and old.There is also a swimming pool and jacuzzi.For those who play golf there is an excellent golf course.There is a five kilometre walking track around the golf course.Bicycles are available in the locality.There are many interesting places to visit locally.I would recommend Emu Court.

I had a wonderful overnight stay at the hotel while attending a conference in Portlaoise which is only 20 mins away by car. The breakfast in the morning was very good for the buffet selection and the scambled eggs were very tasty. I played the championship golf course the next day which was in remarkable condition considering the time of year and look forward to both a return stay and another round. Unfortunately time did not permit a visit to the Spa other than a quick walk around - definitely up for a visit next time.
rooms were fantastic and spotless. really appreciated the little munchies on arrival. host was great responded to messages promptly and we could tell she wanted to make us feel at home. Orla obviously pays a lot of attention and detail into making a great environment for her guests. my sister left a necklace behind and she very kindly posted it out. so close to the hotel we were staying in, my sisters feet appreciated as she was in heels!
My friends and I had an excellent stay here for Electric Picnic, its around a 30 minute drive so was very convenient for us to travel in each day. There is also a bus that runs to EP from the Heritage hotel across the road so you have that option too if you don't want to drive.
Orla was a great host, everything was clean and tidy and we were even provided with snacks and fresh bread which was lovely. Would definitely use it again!
Ideal if you have a wedding in the Heritage. Short walk to hotel that has a path the whole way and street lights. Room and bathroom were spotless. Great shower. The breakfast the next morning was divine ! The hosts make all their own bread, jam, granola etc and they’re really friendly.
The bar and restaurant are comfortable to sit in, nicer surrounds. The penthouse apartment was well decorated, the up house staff member that helped us change the double to a twin room was lovely. Some of the staff were lovely, very friendly and engaging. particularly reception.
Very close to Killenard hotel where we were attending a work event. The hotel was booked out, the apartment and host Orla were outstanding. Orla had homemade bread scones and a fridge full of breakfast items. Tjis was way beyond our expectations
We loved everything about Kearneys B&B. Julie-ann and Ivan were excellent hosts. They were very welcoming... Ivan drive us to our Hotel for a wedding. And julie-ann made us gorgeous continental breakfast. We felt really comfortable with them.
Food was excellent some of the best beef I have ever tasted .Hotel was very clean . room was really brilliant .great room beds very comfortable.Could not ask for a better break .
