Gorgeous beaches loved that you could walk along the cliffs safely and easily for a 1.5 mile walk each direction right from town. Town looks a bit in disrepair at times. Our accommodation was great with wonderful service including the restaurant below it. Parking was easy.

The beach is gorgeous, as are the cliff walks and views.
The beach is gorgeous, as are the cliff walks and views. Restaurants were fine.
Unfortunately we couldn't find any postcards, couldn't rent any bicycles (nearest bike hire was miles away), and the 'tourist office ' was not only shut down but in a very sad state of disrepair.
Also, no one seemed to know where Charlotte Bronte honeymooned!! We found it easily though (there's a plaque).

Beautiful cafes, pubs and dinning establishments on the street to taste, Kilkee is simply beautiful, easy to get around, signage excellent, clean and welcoming, people are warm and friendly, lovely community
Stayed at sycamore Lodge after completing the Hell of the West Triathlon.Staff at Sycamore Lodge (Tom and staff ) couldn’t be more hospitable and helpful. Was treated to a lovely selection of treats and a coffee on arrival. They even have taught of transport and received a lift into Kilkee and a lift home in the evening. The bedroom was so comfortable. This accommodation is of hotel quality and a lovely cooked breakfast along with buffet home made breads and pastries went down a treat..Had a lovely stay ..Will be back again.
will say this - I rarely give out a Ten rating, but this place most certainly deserved it. Although we didnt get the best rooms in the house, they were simply wonderful. Beds were super - and I mean awesome - comfy. Slept like kings and queens. Although the dining room was a bit 'stuffy', the staff were very, very professional and friendly. I had the Full Irish Breakfast for a week straight prior to getting to Kilkee, and so ordered it again. Hands down, this was done the best across the south of the country.
This place is in a very quiet and picturesque part of Ireland, with lots of local history. Our host Teresa was very capable and helpful, she had good local knowledge suggesting places to see and helped us find a friendly local bar, (Foley's).
There was plenty of parking and our room was ground floor, very clean and comfortable.
We had a large, spotless, private bathroom, a choice of bath, or walk in shower and plenty of towels.
Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with as much tea or coffee as we wanted.
There was no breakfast. We paid an outrageous price of €600 for 2 nights for 2 rooms on a room only basis. It was worth no more than €80 per night given the basic level of accommodation offered and no breakfast facilities whatsoever. Hotel is old and musty, shower was very weak and we had to be moved to another room when we arrived because the bed was so small. Location is good but not enough to ever warrant another stay here. Grossly inflated prices for sub zero quality. Never again
I liked the location , I liked the size of the property . The grounds the property is on . Its a nice quiet area away from the town and any noise from revellers . There are beautiful walks close by . A decent view from the property .
Great parking facilities . The town center is within walking distance . There is plenty of open space for kids , the tennis and basketball courts and playground are a great facility .
This was a perfect little find for us. We booked last minute on our travels around Ireland and glad we did. Staff were lovely and helpful. Greeted us already knowing our name, had dinner at the bar which was lovely and good portions. Breakfast was lovely too. Room was beautiful, bed was so comfortable and clean. Views and location was lovely. I would definitely recommend and come back if we were in the area.
Our stay was wonderful! The owners were very nice and the room was perfect-bed comfortable and bathroom was updated. Breakfast was very good-the porridge was so tasty. Easy to access right off the main road and plenty of parking. We would definitely recommend to anyone who is planning a stay in Kilkee!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Location was perfect, 2 minutes to beach and great location to tour west Clare, Loop head, Doonbeg, Kilrush and more.
Property was very spacious, very comfortable furnishings and cooking facilities were excellent. Cleanliness was excellent and management were very helpful with any requests.
The Pods and facilities were so clean and well kept. Well done to the hosts who were so welcoming but also let you enjoy your peace. The local knowledge they shared made it a perfect trip to Clare and I can't wait to stay and explore dome more
Thanks again for a wonderful stay
location was fantastic , the cleanliness was exceptional , the staff very welcoming , the breakfast was first class we had poached eggs and avocado and the beds were the most comfortable we have come across throughout our stay in Ireland would highly recommend
Superb B&B - 2nd time to stay here - Beautiful location with stunning views. A wee bit of a distance from Kilkee itself but as we had a car, it didn't bother us. Great facilities and fabulous breakfast. Teresa's a great hostess. We'll definitely return.
Perfect for a stay. Beautiful little village. Room was excellent
It had everything we needed. Accommodation was quite. Bed was super comfortable. I will go back hear again. Plenty of places to eat
Highly recommended staying hear.
