Kikcullen is a lovely quiet spot with some lovely views over the river. I did not see anyone fishing but I think it is a fishing spots. it has a real village feel. it is full of nice small shops. it is near everywhere. So if you want a quiet spot but you are in the town , it is the place to be and during the summer it must be lovely. Lovely people in the town too.

    Attended a wedding in Fallons.

Attended a wedding in Fallons. Great venue, food and atmosphere. Stayed overnight in No 5 B&B and would highly recommend it. Had delicious coffee and pancakes with family in Crean's (a must visit) before taking a leisurely drive back to Dublin. Will be revisiting soon for a ramble around the village to see more.

We were there for a convention, so the day was mostly taken up. As a result, we had very little time for sightseeing, but the area of Kilcullen looked very nice, and we would have liked more time to explore the area. Quiet countryside lanes.
