Room was good. We did not eat at the hotel - largely because we would have only eaten breakfast and the proce seemed high compared to the alternatives (and my companion is a vegetarian which means that often hotel breakfasts can be poor value)

Situated not too far from galway city the hotel will arrange a taxi for you the hotel also has ample parking facilities inside the hotel is nicely decorated the room we stayed in was lovely plenty of room comfy bed spotlessly clean and lovely decor the breakfast next morning served in the spacious was delicious with plenty of choice I would highly recommend staying in this hotel and will definitely stay here again

Breakfast was above average. Was able to select eggs, multiple pastry options, and multiple drink options such as juice, coffee, or tea. We were able to make different meals such as sandwiches with multiple meat and cheese and marmalade options and also fruit bowls and we also had the option to request a hot bowl of oatmeal which is quite a big plus considering that even some higher-end hotels would not provide. The rooms were very clean and spacious for a two-person stay and a three-person stay because we took both options. There was available parking near hotel and also a grocery shop that had all of the necessities and then some. The staff was really friendly and helpfull.

The breakfast was very tasty. They had a nice selection to choose from, including an Irish breakfast which we were so thrilled to try. Ann's scones were amazing!
We were asking about a laundry facility since it was the second half of our trip. Michael suggested a great place to go in Oranmore, even gave us a ride there since we didn't have a car!

We received a very warm welcome from Maeve and Gerry. They have a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely room and a delicious continental breakfast each morning. The pubs in the village didn’t serve food the first night, so we drove to another hotel in the next village for dinner. Next night was a short walk into town to a local pub for a very nice meal. We thoroughly recommend a stay at Doonard Manor.
