We spent 1 night over the weekend and it was just great. From when we arrived, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was really lovely, and perfect for what we required. We both had a wonderful sleep. Having been at a wedding, the following morning, we were ready for Breakfast. The food was really tasty and plenty of it. The location was wonderful and Inistioge is a beautiful village - a great base too for exploring South Kilkenny.
The property is 250 years old and situated between New Ross, Graiguenamanagh and Inistioge. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site.

Misinformation the location was too far to start with nothing like the picture looks like what you see , the rooms were dingy and filty she has a dead cat lying around the shed , not a good place to stay we booked for two nights we only stayed for one night , too scary of a place dust and cob webs every where . Not a good place it should be taken off site

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. The host was brilliant and the little touches, like bread, milk and butter were very thoughtful and much appreciated. Couldn't recommend this cottage highly enough. Bed linen was so soft, cottage was spotlessly clean, and the views were out of this world.

After all, the owner, Tom, has given me an air matress for free the second night and didnt't mind me to sleep in the vault, on the bathroom floor, so it was like having a studio instead of staying in my own tent.

Very friendly welcome and a lovely comfortable room with a fantastic view over fields and the river. Nice simple options laid out for breakfast too. Everything you could want, close to Thomastown but also only a short drive into Kilkenny.

The Cottage was beautiful and staff very helpful, even leaving us fresh muffins to enjoy. Would highly recommend and stay again when back in Kilkenny!

Inistioge is a beautiful little Irish town with so much to offer. Great spot to get away from it all. With lots of activities to do during the day such as taking in the Woodstock gardens with beautiful grounds and some rare/endangered trees, a walk along the river or a visit to the historical Jerpoint abbey. There is something for everyone. There are 3 pubs in the town to go for a drink in the evening or escape on a rainy day. No restaurants in the town but The Otter bar serves food up until 7.00 and I tried their homemade Lasagna which was great for pub grub.

I love the village, it has had a long history.
I love the village, it has had a long history. Woodstock gardens and arboretum are beautiful and are a fabulous walk from the village. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant and the Woodstock Arms stops serving food at 7.00pm.
