Or indeed, if you just want to relax and wander around this very picturesque village. or along the banks of the river Nore. Misinformation the location was too far to start with nothing like the picture looks like what you see , the rooms were dingy and filty she has a dead cat lying around the shed , not a good place to stay we booked for two nights we only stayed for one night , too scary of a place dust and cob webs every where . Not a good place it should be taken off site

After all, the owner, Tom, has given me an air matress for free the second night and didnt't mind me to sleep in the vault, on the bathroom floor, so it was like having a studio instead of staying in my own tent.

We stayed in Graiguenamanagh because we were going fly fishing in Kilkenny the next day, as well as touring Kilkenny Castle. I wish we had more time to explore the town - it looked lovely as we drove out! We arrived very late and left right after breakfast, unfortunately.

Graiguenamanagh is a lovely little town, with beautiful views of the river and great facilities for canoeists , swimmers and paddle-boarders. There is also a river boat for trips. The location is excellent, with beautiful views, great walks, and places to sit, have a coffee and drink it all in.
The Waterside Guesthouse is in a fantastic location right on the river. The food is excellent, as are the staff.
Graiguenamanagh is in the heart of the beautiful countryside and close to towns for shopping and restaurants.

Lovely peaceful quiet little place., met some lovely people the locals mostly were so so nice and couldn’t do enough for us as it’s our first time away in a long time but it was definitely worth the visits and I can’t wait to go back again. 😊

Beautiful little place lovely walks. pubs everyone we met were so lovely. The guesthouse was fabulous for the money we paid the breakfast out standing!along with the staff who were so good and lovely girls. We stayed in a top hotel after here and I would go back here quicker than the hotel all in all I really enjoyed my stay and I’m going to come back with my kids for a night in August. Waking up and looking out the window onto the canal was so beautiful 😍 I can’t wait to come back again!! And hopefully the weather will be much nicer.
Excellent location, close to lots of picturesque towns and villages like Borris and Graiguenamanagh as well as Kilkenny City. Plenty of choice of activities like parks and golf courses. Brandon View has great mountain scenery of its own as well. Rooms are tidy and clean with WiFi and TV. Helen's home cooked Irish breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is fabulous (book in advance !) And the breakfast is gigantic !
