Oh my god, wow is all I can say.....
Asumpta and Mick couldn't do much more for us. We were up to visit Mcnean House an all I can say is we were treated like royalty from the start when we landed at Clancys. We were ferried to and from Mcnean house and the room itself was outstanding. A breakfast that was way over my expectations. Bravo to Clancys of Glenfarne. I will return.
Ps...I'd be ashamed of myself if I didnt mention the local pub Mchuges... pure irish hospitality an we were made feel at home with the locals...
I booked this hotel for an overnight stay for my husband and daughter. They were going to a football match in Sligo. they had an amazing stay in this hotel. Host were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was excellent ..especially the home made soda bread which was still warm! Hotel was easy to find and the rooms were lovely and very comfortable. They also had lunch (sandwiches) in the restaurant and they were huge and really good. The surrounding area is beautiful too. Definitely recommended 5 stars
Jim & Assumpta are fabulous hosts - a fabulous welcome for us. Breakfast is a whole vibe on its own - that glenfarne fry is still haunting me - I could eat it everyday, and the home made soda bread is like a drug...sooo good. Mchughs pub across the road is a little gem too and so handy for end of day nightcap. All in all, Clancy's is a little oasis...
Jim the owner was greatly helpful as he accepted to drive us to the nearest restaurant when the hotel's one was closed. And he came back to pick us up at the end of the meal!
