A quality place to stay. Joe is a super host, so welcoming and provided lots of useful information on places to visit, night time entertainment and best places to eat. A lovely breakfast too. Highly recommended.
Dungarvan is a great town with nice people. There are newer built shopping facilities in the town that are not really that great compared to the feeling of the main square and its surrounding boutique type shops and bars. Took the train from Dublin Heuston station to Waterford direct (2 hrs 15 mins) and used local X55 coach from Waterford town Bus station (5 mins walk over the bridge) and onto Dungarvan (50 Mins), made the journey really easy.

Dungarvin is a vibrant town with a lovely harbour.
Dungarvin is a vibrant town with a lovely harbour. It has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants /bars. The town is clean and littler free and the people are very friendly and helpful .
We ate at the Moorings which is right on the harbour. Excellent food and service.recommend booking but if you are prepared to wait they will fine a table for you.
Beautiful house in an excellent location, plenty of parking outside and you are an easy stroll from plenty of restaurants and pubs in Dungarvan. The house is spacious, modern and nicely decorated. The bedrooms are large with very comfy beds, the master bedroom in particular is fabulous. Yvonne is so friendly and accommodating, she was in contact with plenty of information before our stay and kept in touch while we were there. Truly enjoyed our stay and the house, will definitely be back!
The location is superb - the balcony overlooks the town and inlets from the sea, and you can get to the town square in just minutes on foot. There are multiple bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes' walk too. We managed to get a free car park space for the whole weekend we were there. The apartment itself is terrific, and very well appointed. There is a very handy supermarket, and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking simple meals in the compact but well equipped kitchen.
Beautiful luxurious B & B. The breakfast was the best cooked that I have had, lovely homemade bread and beautiful cutlery and crockery. Felt like we were in a 5* hotel. Very helpful host giving us helpful local information and ordered a taxi for us. Luxurious bedroom, very comfortable bed and large bathroom with a rain shower and jacuzzi bath. Very quiet location.
Fantastic dog friendly Hotel right in the town centre! Staff were just great...Jack, Irene, Eibhlin and of course Declan, the owner, who even let us have our 2 dogs in the pub...we had a great night, great sleep and a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be back! :)
Park at Scanlon’s yard and walk through the laneway which brings you straight out to the Hotel.
Very good location. Free car park at the rear - but very hard to get a space. Staff very friendly - especially the young staff on Breakfast duty. Breakfast was very fresh and even though it was busy, it came promptly - and with a smile. A great town to go exploring down side streets and lots of outdoor dining options.
Alistair and Catherine are very friendly and gave us great tips on area attractions. On their recommendation we visited the copper coast...which we hadn't planned on. Best part of the trip! Thank you so much for making our visit to Waterford a memorable one. We'll definitely visit Follies again.
The hotel was beautifully decorated and just perfect for our 2 night getaway with out dog. The bed was super comfy and the staff were exceptional and even arranged for us to have dinner indoors with our dog at their sister restaurant, a rare treat for any people travelling in Ireland with a pet.
Stayed on the 1st floor in a room at front of hotel.Great view also. Beer barden and outdoor terrace was fabulous.Food was excellent. The featherblade of beef was the best ive had.
Have stayed at The Park 4/5 times in last few years and its always been excellent
This B&B feels like a mini 4 or 5 star boutique hotel, camouflaged in a suburban housing estate, and you should definitely stay here! The breakfast was delicious and extremely well presented and the hostess was exceptionally friendly, warm and inviting!
Breakfast was lovely! Little bit of everything. Bread was tasty and fresh, and cereals provided.
Just an 8 min walk into the centre of Dungarvan. It was also located directly beside the Waterford Greenway, which I found ideal.
Great location for dungarvan Town, clonea strand, fota and Ardmore.
Kay is a lovely host and leaves milk, cornflakes scones and jam prior to your arrival.
Would definitely recommend and return to St Anthonys b&b
