The staff were very friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble for any of them from start to finish! The pool facilities were great! Would definitely return again
The Hotel Imperial is in Dundalk town centre, close to all the major attractions and shops, bars and restaurants. It has free parking, modern bars and coffee shop.

Dundalk in County Louth, the wee county, provided an incredible outpouring of creativity to celebrate Brigid1500. The Northern Lights Light Show in Market Square, the murals and storefronts painted with signs of Spring and Brigid, the cultural production at An Tain Theatre and the County Museum.
We were there for 4 days and we made the Proper Cafe "our cafe". The staff were very welcoming and remembered us and the food was great!
We also took a bus to Carlingford and enjoyed a short hike and great views of Carlingford Lough. Also, the home of Thomas Darcy McGee, and Father of Canadian Confederation.

At St.
At St. Patrics Day there were no free hotel in good price in Dublin. This choice for accomodation was the best choice, only 1 hour from Dublin by train, and found a very nice pansion with polite people.

The Imperial Hotel is a lovely comfortable hotel with very friendly helpful staff. The location of the hotel is very central and the town centre and shopping are just a short stroll from the door. My husband enjoyed a very pleasant evening at the races in Ireland's only all weather racecourse, just a short Taxi ride away, while I browsed and shopped in the nearby Shopping Centre. We dined in the hotel, where the food was excellent. We had a lovely restful two day break, and we plan to return there in the future.

People were very friendly, a lot of greetings while out walking the street on a wet morning, likewise staff in shops all very welcoming, the town could do more to promote it's history and some beautiful surroundings within close proximity, unfortunately there are a lot of derelict or dilapidated buildings around the town. The town also could do with a better range of dining experiences The Spotted Dog was excellent but a few more restaurants at that end of the market would be very welcome.

Dundalk has lots of potential.
Dundalk has lots of potential. Nicely laid out town and looking very well Unfortunately the people of Dundalk don't know the meaning of good customer service, very cold and unwelcoming. We didn't meet a single friendly face in the bars or resteraunts, customer service was NIL!

We stayed at the Carrickdale Hotel.
We stayed at the Carrickdale Hotel. We drove to Newry and did some shopping. Then we went to stunning Carlingford for lunch and more shopping! Back to Blackrock in Dundalk for fish and chips from Roma on the promenade and ice cream at storm in a teacup. Dundalk has beautiful scenic drives and greenway walks and we loved exploring around it.
After doing a lot of hotel breaks we decided on a self catering cottage. An Bothan cottage sounded ideal for what we were looking for - it didn't disappoint!! A gorgeous quaint wee cottage that had modern bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Catriona the owner had even left us freshly baked wheaten bread and marmalade which was a lovely treat. We adored staying here and will definitely be returning soon.
Spacious, comfortable room with beautiful spa bath. Great to be able to open the window for fresh air. The menu includes a vegan section which was excellent and the food overall was really good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens and the Secret Garden cafe was very nice. During the week when the hotel was not so busy, it was really enjoyable to sit in the lobby or lounge areas.
This was a perfect place to arrive to after traveling over seas and arriving in Ireland. The host was warm, inviting and accommodating. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. I was able to get an amazing night’s sleep in the comfy bed. The accommodations were also peaceful and quiet as is the neighborhood it is tucked away in. Highly recommend the Krakow B & B!
It's very convenient to lots of local amenities. The area around Louth and Meath is steeped in history, from the passage tombs to the the north eastern coast up to Carlingford lough. You can even cross the border by land or take the ferry and explore northern Ireland. Actually it's an awesome area to spend time and everything is reasonably close.
This spot provided the perfect stay for us on our first couple nights in Ireland. It was incredibly cozy, well-kept, fantastic location to venture into smaller towns during the day/evening while having a nice and quiet respite for the night. Walking up to the sunrise and sheep sounds was the perfect idyllic Irish experience.
It was big enough to afford everyone in our group their own rooms and still be cost effective for us. The bathrooms were shared, but well-kept and stocked. It was a quiet area and we enjoyed a wonderfully restful night after a long couple of days of traveling.
Ronnie was lovely and very knowledgeable, and Irina was excellent and attentive! We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone we know passing through Dundalk. It was so clean and the house is so well kept!
All of the staff were lovely throughout the stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel itself was beautiful and located in a lovely part of the countryside while still being close to nearby amenities.
really nice property lovely room and friendly staff ; close to the town centre only 100 yds from The Windsor Bar where Joe Biden popped in for a drink last month- pop in and see for yourself!🤪
Lovely hotel, atmospheric old house, nice grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Good location: an hour from Dublin, close to Dundalk, Carlingford, local amenities such as horseriding.

the host - Teresa was fantastic. She was very helpful and made sure I felt at home. Being located right in the city centre makes this property the preferred choice.
Great location; only a 10 minute walk from the town centre.
Lindzy was extremely friendly and catering.
Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Dundalk.
Nice decor. Clean. Exceptional breakfast.
Staff were all amazing - very friendly and attentive.
