Property was in a prime location and very easy to get to.
The room was very spacious and very clean. Only disappointment was we were looking at a brick wall and we had no water in our room. We had an empty jug in the room. The staff were very helpful. As I am a diabetic and dialysis patient I needed a night time snack when I returned to the hotel. This was provided and there was plenty refreshments provided which I really appreciated. Breakfast was fabulous and so much variety.

Honestly it was like putting a bunk bed in a shoe box, 410 euro for a 12ft x 6ft room, no point of having a tv in there too, you can’t watch it from anywhere unless you stand in front of it with your nose touching it

The City wasn't very clean. The usual sites to see...Jameson distillery, Guiness, the zoo, the castle and Temple University were amazing. We found many great pubs. The best was Arthur's. Good food friendly staff.

Plan ahead what you would like to do, and give yourself time. You can visit local attractions without a tour. Example, Dublin Castle, Christ Church, Book of Wells, Trinity college.
We did book the Magical Mysteries tour bus, was excellent.

Dublin might not be the prettiest city in the world but I find it very interesting with a definite vibrancy. The city has a somewhat difficult history & there is plenty of thet to explore. Plenty of good pubs to sample the Guinness but be warned if you choose to imbibe in the Temple Bar area it will cost about 30-40% more per pint. It might seem a bit creepy but honestly take a guided tour around Glasnevin cemetery. It is packed with history.

Lived in Dublin for years, moved back home in 2017. Hadn’t visited the city centre since preCovid.
Dublin living up to its reputation of being dirty.
Travelled on the Luas and people were openly drinking. City centre has a tense atmosphere, like the slightest thing could set off a fight.
Would not encourage a return visit anytime soon.

We spent a very enjoyable evening starting with dinner at Darkey Kelly's, which we all agreed was perfect. After an amazing meal and great time with their staff, we strolled around and soaked in the atmosphere.
The staff at Staycity were fantastic. Very friendly and professional. Alex was so helpful! The location is perfect for a stay in Dublin. It is within walking distance of everything you would want to see and visit. Our room was nice and provided all the amenities seen in the photographs. I was very impressed with the black out shade. Coming from America we are use to it getting dark earlier than it did while we were in Ireland. The shade kept the light out very well so we could get a good night's sleep.
Lovely hotel, very clean and efficient. Room was beautiful, shower was amazing and spotless. Security was very good within the hotel, considering the concert and other events in Dublin which were on. Price was reasonable enough for Dublin, especially considering the eventful weekend that it was. Staff were outstanding, happy to help and very kind. Would definitely stay here again, so accessible and easy whilst attending the concert and easy to get in and out of the city centre too.
Central location so easy access to Dublin City Centre. Lots of buses every few minutes and a wonderful walk to local amenities.
Ballsbridge is a safe and busy area. The hotel is back from the main road due to the beautiful garden and landscape.
I highly recommend this area and hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. You need cash in the shape of coins for the buses. The bus was reasonable and a great service. No complaints at all. We had a family room. Plenty of space.
Right from the start to the end, our stay was perfect. Reception and ground staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. As it was our wedding anniversary, we were also surprised with homemade brownies in our room. Hotel is very centrally located in Dublin City centre and only seconds away from shops, restaurants, museums and bars. I'll definitely be keeping this hotel in mind when returning to Dublin in the future.
We ended up staying for over a week due to a family member being hospitalized. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. The value for staying a full week was very reasonable for Dublin City centre.. breakfast was first class and great variety.. even though we didn't avail of it it was great to have the option of music ever night..
Highly recommend this hotel for anyone that may be needing accommodation near the mater or even a long weekend in Dublin
Well this was my first day in Ireland and I had arrived very early in the morning but was not able to check in at that time. The hotel staff allowed me to check my luggage at the hotel while I wandered about Dublin until the afternoon. They were super helpful with giving me directions and map to use for exploring. I only stayed there for two day, but it was a perfect intro to being Ireland.
Arlington Hotel is a real find!
Superb location and right in the heart of the city centre.
Great facilities and comfortable accommodation with great food and drinks in the restaurant/bar at the street level. Live entertainment every night was also welcome.
Awesome access to everything Dublin City has to offer and the public transport is easy to access.
All while being responsibly priced.
The Academy is an ideal, affordable, luxurious hotel in the heart of Dublin City Centre. Walking distance to most transport options, buses, taxis, luas etc. The staff are very knowledgable and will go out of their way to help when needed. The rooms were spacious and affordable with nice finishing touches like local Bewleys tea bags and coffee in each room.
Great hotel super location. We booked last minute as we needed to stay in the Dublin we only live in Wicklow. On site parking is excellent and a rarity in the city centre. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and the beds are huge (super king), very comfortable. It’s a lovely quaint hotel in a fab location. I would recommend and certainly stay again.
•Location for walking around Dublin is great!
•The river view is awesome!
•As a final night in Ireland before flying home, it is a fantastic location that makes getting to the airport easy.
•The staff is so friendly & helpful every time we come.
•The bed is very comfortable with two types of pillow options.
Very close to Dublin City centre . Room was available for early check in. Close to grocery stores, coffee shops, shopping, hop on hop off bus. Very clean throughout hotel . Nice size bedroom and Living room/kitchen . Staff very personable . Breakfast for a charge(€) was good value and lots of choices
The hotel is very well located, just a 5 min walk from the most popular parts of the city centre - bars, restaurants, shopping areas, Dublin castle etc.
The hotel is also very new, so everything looked modern, sharp, clean, well presented.
the location was a little bit far from de city centre as we expected, but Dublin is not a big city, walking you can reach all the city center places.
Breakfast was good. A little bit unnorganized when was full, but acceptable
Very modern hotel with excellent facilities within walking distance of both Dublin city centre and the Aviva Stadium. Enjoyed the pool and spa facilities before breakfast the next morning. Would definitely recommend.
Great location in the city centre! The breakfast was amazing. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Very nice hotel to end my stay in Ireland. Bathroom was clean and had full-size bath.
Incredible location, in the heart of the city. The best base for easily walking to all attractions, including temple bar. Rooms were tidy, good amenities. Fantastic breakfast - best hotel breakfast in Ireland.
The staff at this Clayton hotel are brilliant and they will go out of thier way to make you feel at home. I really enjoy my visits home to Ireland and my stays at this particular hotel.
