At breakfast most servers were helpful and pleasant. One tall woman (maybe Polish or Lithuanian) was very abrupt both on entry to the restaurant and whilst serving breakfast. She has no way with customers and seemed disinterested in helping anyone.

Drumcliffe has a great location near Ben Bulben and within easy reach of beautiful beaches at Mullaghmore and Streedagh and Sligo Town. It is important because of its association with the poet W B Yeats who is buried beside the church where his ancestor was once rector.
The Yeats Tavern is an excellent restaurant just minutes away. Glencar Lake is only a short drive away and the surrounding countryside is peaceful and beautiful.

Wonderful interesting historical area to explore.
Wonderful interesting historical area to explore. There’s Yeats grave/ Church, craft shops, coffee shops and Yeats Tavern where the food is really good.Others local villages only a short drive, Lang’s in Grange serves beautiful food.
Rosses point beach never disappoints, is about 10 minutes drive away. Sligo town is also very handy, river runs though the centre with some lovely coffee shops near the bridge. Several car parks but I find the cathedral car park particularly easy,
3 Euros for a stay and you can scan your card to exit

Lovely scenery especially the Glencar Waterfall and the fabulous location and friendly welcome at Benbulben Farm B&B.
All the people we met were friendly and helpful. Lissadel House is currently closed. Check before you intend to visit but it can be seen from the beautiful white sandy beach.

OH how I love Ireland let me count the ways, Drumcliff was just one more stop to stay - play - and fall in love. The boat dock was a grand place to have a view of the Quay and get a bite to eat, see the local life, spot of tea or Irish coffee... easy to want to come back and stay, very picturesque! Staying at the Yeat's Lodge was the MOST wonderful choice!
Such a warm welcome from Marita and Ian! Stunning views of the mountain and of the sea coast from our room and the living/dining rooms. Our newly remodeled room felt luxurious with a comfortable king size bed. Lovely bathroom with heated floor and walk-in shower. Superb full breakfasts, freshly cooked and large bowl of ripe fruit salad. Well marked signs to the B+B, and easy parking. We had 2 very restful nights and wish we had booked for longer. We’ll definitely return whenever we’re in Ireland.
Excellent B&B. Warm hospitality from Marita and Ian. En suite room modern and clean, very private and quiet. Selection of tasty breakfasts.
On elevated site. Stunning up close views from dining room of Benbulben and beautiful panoramic view of coast line.
Haven’t stayed in B&B in a few years but wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Very competitively priced compared with local hotels but with personal touch. Only a few minutes drive to main road N15.
Everything, the hosts were great the breakfast was fantastic our every need was attended to. The location was spectacular and a short walking distance to the years hotel where we had a lovely dinner and a walk to Yeats grave. A ten min drive to Glencar water fall and devils chimney (another water fall that was pretty spectacular and a moderate walk of 1.2km. I would recommend this B&B to anyone.
Relaxed atmosphere,
Very organised and well managed.
No expense spared any where from accommodation to food.
This family do B&B for the love of it and has been done so for generations and it shows.
This place is better than any hotel you could stay.
Bed is super comfy.
Owners are very covid conscious.
Even had big fan in the bedroom for the hot weather.
The view from our room was nothing short of spectacular - looking out on a field of sheep and beyond that a panoramic view of Sligo Bay. From the breakfast room you have a perfect view of Benbulben. Marita offers a number of options for breakfast - we had perfectly cooked poached fresh eggs, on homemade brown bread, sausage, and bacon.
Excellent B&B the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were fantastic and breakfast was amazing! The view of Benbulben was incredible. We really enjoyed the quietness of the area and would definitely stay again when we’re back in Ireland!

Marvellous location by Benbulben, stunning view of the coast, very friendly hostess. An immaculate property with the comfort of a 5-star hotel and the friendliness of a B&B.
Very clean, owners lovely, food amazing. Nicer than a hotel!! Couldn’t rate this B&B highly enough. Everything is of a very high standard and I would definitely stay again.
