All in all the hotel was good value for Money, food in the bar was lovely and staff very friendly. Was running Waterford Marathon and needed 6.30 -7 breakfast and a good one. Morning staff were really helpful and looked after me with porridge.

Good room, comfortable big bed. Big bathroom with good shower. Clean. In centre of town. Lovely friendly staff. Good breakfast, plenty choice on menu. We were able to check in a bit earlier on our request.

Location is very good, breakfast freshly cooked by the friendly staff lady who’s been working there for over twenty years. Reception/bartender on Saturday evening was very helpful. Mr & Mrs Fennessy are a lovely couple, fortunately I got to meet them and Mrs Fennessy explained how the hotel and bar has evolved to the architectural gem it is today and in particular the front and side facades. There’s also a lovely church directly across the road with an amazing choir.

The location on the river and the elegant bar/ restaurant/ reception areas are a real plus. The decoration and racing related memorabilia in the hotel and grounds make for a unique experience. We were made to feel welcome on arrival and offered tea and cake. A member of staff politely guided us to our room and helped us to settle in. Excellent breakfast service. Large rooms with river views. Proximity to areas of scenic beauty. We availed of the offer of free tickets to the Clonmel Racecourse and spent a pleasant at this very scenic racetrack.

Befani's Townhouse is a restored three storey listed building in Clonmel Town Centre. Very central to all amenities including the Suir Blueway for walks and cycling.

We liked EVERTHING about Noan Country House! Starting with the owners, Jean and Johnny who are wonderful hosts (along with 3 year-old Robert, and wonderful dogs who accompanied us on walks), it was just a perfect stay. The location is beautiful; it's a working farm with prize-winning cows and sheep to admire. The house, over 200 years old and furnished with period antiques, is museum quality from the front door to the tiniest detail. And Jean's "full Irish breakfast" is a feast that words can hardly describe --- it must be experienced. We would probably still be there if it hadn't been fully booked after our too-short stay!
