Margaret & Jim were very welcoming and made us feel like guests in their privet home. Like you have known them forever.
The rooms are very spacious and so clean! The beds are comfortable. I don't remember when I slept so well.
We had a room with a sea view which was just breathtaking every single time we looked out the window.

Clonakilty was recommended to us by a friend as she had visited with family on a holiday. Loved this little seaside town, which had plenty to offer in the way of things to see and do. We could easily have spent a few days here happily, relaxing or looking for a bit to get out and do. I feel that as travellers on an international trip, it gave us a great opportunity to experience what I saw as the real Ireland - a true little town which held such history and a passion for its people. Would recommend anyone to go and spend some time there.

I was there to attend a wedding. I did not take a car so I did not see much of Clonakilty itself. I think a car is necessary as it is just outside Clonakilty. I did see the sea and beaches from the taxi and they looked nice.

Great town with lots of pride and several fun cultural experiences. The Clonakilty Black Pudding Visitors Center was great. The Clonakilty Distillery is a great tour and tasting experience. The downtown is cute and walkable. The people are kind and it's central to many great communities nearby.

Fab little town, everything is so close together. Really wished we'd stayed longer & are already planning a return in the Summer. Didn't eat in any of the restaurants as we only ate in the hotel but the menus of many of the eateries looked great!

Lovely quaint old world charm town.
Lovely quaint old world charm town. Very colourful and clean. Great selection of shops and information of things to see and do in the area. Take the train for a tour around the town for all ages. Lovely location as a base for exploring deeper into west Cork or just relaxing in one of the many beaches in the area. If you get the weather there is no place to beat this part of Ireland.

Great taxi service, Nial Johnson has electric luxury cars for regular price, really fun. Dinner at Camus with guest chef, Caitlin Ruth was amazing.
You don't need a car, bus goes all the way to cork and past Skibbereen.
We were looking for a remote, but not too remote, location. And we found it in Dunmore House. The beach walks and trails are perfect, or just sitting by to watch the tides. The host was beyond anyone's expectation, especially for a hotel this size. The in-house restaurant serves some of the best meals we had in Ireland, most were fresh from their gardens on site. Spend a night, spend a week, you'll be rejuvenated in more ways than you can count.
What a lovely hotel set in stunning surroundings overlooking the bay, staff food and everything quality. When im working in Cork i would normally stay in a hotel in the town centre but they have got seriously expensive, this is where the Dunmore House Hotel comes into its element as you get a fantastic hotel with the personal touch in a stunning location at a cost less that you will pay in the town centre, well worth the extra few miles to drive
Beautifully appointed cottage, private and very comfortable, like a home away from home! The grounds are magnificent and peaceful, perfect for a romantic getaway. The pool is a wonderful added feature. The hosts Gerard and Ann gave us a warm welcome and they communicated with us before and during our stay for ease of arrival and check-in, as well as offering helpful tips during our stay. Good home base for day trips in and around west cork.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of clonakilty. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bar is nice with typical irish folk music.
The breakfast is being served in the cafe next to the hotel. The breakfast was delicious.

The hotel offers corners to sit outside the rooms. We ate our delivered pizzas there.

Lovely stay at the studio cottage just a few minutes outside Clonakilty. Great location for exploring west cork including inchydoney beach nearby.
Studio is impeccably decorated with everything inside great quality including all the cooking utensils you may need.

An absolute gem! Perfect location, very private yet super close to Clonakilty. Spotlessly clean. Very cosy. Sarah Jane was amazing and had all little touches throughout the property including a welcome package with local produce. We already can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Bernie and Dermott are very friendly. we got stuck in the wedding’s hotel and Bernie collected us. it was very important to us. she didn’t need to do it but she did. we are very grateful!!
Breakfast was good and varied. The location was excellent with easy acceess to parking and all the sites in the town. Weren't able to book reservations at the restaurant which was dissapointing. Covid attention was well handled.. We felt "safe."
We have come to the clonakilty park the last two summers, and our kids age 5 and 6 just adore it. We have just checked out and can’t wait to book for next year, amazing facilities, such lovely staff. Best family hotel I’ve been to!
The Breakfast was great and the location was very good. Good location for exploring the West of Ireland. Not too far from Baltimore for Boat trips to the Islands. Our six year old enjoyed The model Railway Village in Clonakilty.
My sister & I enjoyed the comfortable hotel, good food & garden situated close to family, Clonakilty & the sea. We went birdwatching while walking by the sea in the sunshine. West Cork is a lovely area to visit.
