We just stopped on our way through but everything ran very smoothly. Host responded quickly to our requests. The apartment was clean and well equipped. There was even a pack of cookies left for us that was very appreciated.
The family-run White Sands Hotel is opposite the Blue Flag beach at Ballyheigue. It offers comfortable rooms with TVs, traditional breakfasts and free parking.

O'Neill's Bed & Breakfast provides panoramic ocean and countryside views of Ballyheigue beach, bay and mountains. The dining room and guest lounge directly overlook this scenery.

Everything was excellent, from the moment we checked in to when we checked out. All staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast. A pleasant walk into the small town with easy access to a beautiful beach. Will definitely return

The apartment is a part of a larger family home, but totally separate, with own entrance, kitchen, living/ dining room, bedroom and the bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, with plenty of pots and pans, and complimentary instant coffee, tea, sugar and little jams and butter.
The apartment was spotless. And quiet! - we slept like young parents wish their newborns would.
The kindly hostess emailed us the exact postcode minutes after we booked the room. When we arrived, the appartment was ready: she even set the TV to Euro 2024!
Plenty of off-street parking, right next to the house. The beautiful beach is a few minutes walk away.
Unfortunately, we left without saying goodbye - if you read this, dear hosts, it's only because we left so early. Thank you for your hospitality!

Kind friendly hosts, great cooker (as always, bring your own chef's knife), plenty of plates, pans etc., plenty tea towels, oven gloves & cleaning equipment, heating warmed the house effectively, tons of space inside, lovely peaceful area. Great stay in beautifully appointed apartment situated right on the Wild Atlantic Way. Gerald and Noelle could not have made us more welcome and were happy for us to park our motorcycles in the attached garage during our stay. Lots of helpful info to make our stay more enjoyable. Ovie the dog is a delight, what a bundle of fun and friendliness. Very highly recommended.
