Aran views, hotel in Carna

Aran views offers rooms in Galway. This bed and breakfast features a garden and free private parking. The bed and breakfast has family rooms.

House was in a beautiful location in Connemara with beautiful views. The room was newly renovated and spotless, beds were very comfy . The host had an area upstairs outside our room with a couch and tv and a coffeemaker and hot chocolate which was something both myself and son really enjoyed. A home away from home....The host was v friendly and v welcoming. Continental breakfast was available for us the following morning. I told the host I was coeliac which she kindly accommodated me with fresh fruit, yogurts and gluten free breads which I was delighted with. We were visiting our daughter attending the gaeltacht so was ideal for this purpose or if you are touring Connemara. I felt that the photos online didn't do the property justice. It definitely exceeded our expectations. I thought that every effort was made by the host to have everything 100%. We felt that we had come across a really lovely place and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful place, not much to do apart from walk and watch the wildlife. One pub which had a christening on the day I visited so stuck in the hotel once it went dark. It was November so not the ideal time as limited daylight

The location and scenery were fantastic as was the host Susie. From a covid hygiene point of view I couldn't fault it and seeing Susie sanitising the other units left me in no doubt that we were perfectly safe. I can't wait to book and go again.

Nice quiet area.. there is a lovely beach about 8 mins in a car.. restaurant in the hotel was perfect for food on both nights.. there doesn’t appear to be anywhere else to eat there..Kylemore abbey about 40 mins away is worth going to see but make sure you get there before 4 as it closes entry at that time..

The cottage was right on the ocean.

The cottage was right on the ocean. Our host came to meet us at a nearby restaurant to guide us to the cottage. The amenities were amazing- free wi-fi, tv with net-flix, a variety of groceries in the cupboard, comfortable furnishings. It provided an authentic experience. Wonderful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. There was nothing to dislike. It was a quiet area but we travelled to other places on the Wild Atlantic Way as we travelled by car From the coast to the mountains the scenery was beautiful.

Dinner very good. We dined locally one night which was not good at all but dinner in the Carna Bay Hotel was very good. Breakfast was almost entirely egg based, fine unless you have an allergy to eggs but staff were accommodating. The second day there weren't many patrons and as a result breakfast was very poor. Poorest Ive ever encountered. No fruit, no cheese etc.

Very friendly staff. We were made to feel very welcome with our little dog. (This was our first time to take our dog away with us) It truly is a pet friendly hotel! The food here is fabulous. Delicious, decent portions, and beautifully presented. The Guinness is good 👍👌.
