Location is perfect for this beautiful colourful village. Some lovely walks & historic buildings. In addition there are a few bars with plenty of character & charm.
The hotel is lovely & the restaurant serves some first class food, absolutely delicious with a great selection for all food types. The staff were friendly, kind & very helpful.
We had a standard double room which was fine for our one night stay. We were also fortunate to park right outside the hotel, however
there are a couple of car parks a few minutes walk from hotel too.

The hostess was lovely, friendly and very helpful. They accommodated 10 family members at very short notice and done breakfast earlier to facilitate our earlier departure. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Carlingford is a charming medieval village directly across a bay from Northern Ireland. It's just over an hour from both Dublin and Belfast and makes a nice stop on the way to or from both cities. Also Taaffe's Castle Pub is one of the two or three best pubs I have been to in the world!

The views were stunning, the food ( especially the fish was delicious) and the musical entertainment on a Tuesday night was great.
Better still we could walk to the bed and breakfast in five plus minutes

Such a quaint little town perched on the waters edge.
Such a quaint little town perched on the waters edge.
Lots of lovely restaurants serving lovely fresh seafood. And some quirky little shops.
We ate lunch at PJ’s known for its oysters.
And at the kingfisher bistro in the evening. Both served delicious food.

Lovely apartment on the Lough.
Lovely apartment on the Lough. The hosts make full use of the space allowing a party of five to stay in comfort. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday night and several of the restaurants were closed which is such a pity which resulted in us having to get take out. The property is right at the entrance to the Greenway and the bike hire company there were great, reasonably priced and very pleasant
Love shalom. Have stayed before for a wedding and stayed again for another. 5 mins walk from four seasons hotel. Half the price! Room first class. Picnic tables outside. Just beautiful. Lady who owns it is delightful. Breakfast brilliant. Fella that makes the breakfast, really nice. Will definitely be staying here again. So handy into Carlingford.
Hotel was beautiful, staff were very welcoming and professional. Staff appearance was very good. Uniforms etc. Location was brilliant, so close to the town. Room was spotlessly clean. Decor was very nice. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We will be back and we are telling our friends to go there also.
Excellent location just outside Carlingford and Greenore. The lady of the house cooks a fine feed of breakfast. Much better than staying at a hotel and the room was massive. I plan to make a trip up for the Cooley poc fada in 2024. Please God this venue is available when I return.
