Staff were very nice & helpfull. Receptionist on Sun night was lovely and girl this am was nice too. Met a young guy who works there and he was very friendly. We had a chat about what work they were doing at the hotel. The evening restaurant staff were very busy so had to ask 3 times for a side order but they were also very nice as was the girl serving breakfast she was flying it on her own.
Shower room was lovely & modern .
Free parking at back .

A beautiful peaceful location with lots of options for outdoor activities. Wonderful scenery & unique experiences. Check out the best in local artisan foods, Irish hospitality & to brush up on the Irish language.
An absolutely charming hotel in every sense - the decor inside is lovely and lots of interesting pictures adorn the walls be they art or otherwise. The location beside the little church and national park is a huge bonus. The food was perfect. The staff were absolutely amazing so courteous and helpful. It is rare a hotel leaves this kind of impression on me but this hotel certainly did and it far exceeded my expectations. We will return hopefully.
Fabulous hotel in a fairy tale location. Exceeded all expectations. The dinner at the hotel should rate a Michelin star. The host Neil is tremendous. He holds a very high standard of excellence, and yet is approachable and very knowledgeable about the area. Don't miss out on this experience.
Loved the ambience of the hotel. We were upgraded to a gorgeous room with a view of St Finbarr’s Oratory. Dinner was amazing. Breakfast was also very good, especially the porridge with chocolate and Bailey’s 😊
The hotel is lovely, the staff were all really friendly. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast was really good. Its lovely to sit in that dining room and look out at the lake. I highly recommend
