Coolcower House has the look and feel of a country mansion and is beautifully located in extensive grounds accessed by a long drive and overlooks the river. Wood panelled hallways, imposing stairwells and comfortable public rooms (including a lovely bar area). Although looking a little tired in places, it is a wonderfull place to stay.

We had very good food in both the Abbey Hotel and The Mill Inn. The staff in both were very friendly. There are lots of walks in the area, short, along by the lovely river, and longer ones up the hills. There are many cycle trails mapped along the roads. There is currently some through traffic, but a bypass is being built. It is a lovely village and we shall certainly return.

Lovely place with excellent hosts the rooms were spotless and the bed very comfortable.great location for our family get together. I would recommend home farm for a weekend getaway or would be very good for a large family get together. I will be back in the future to stay again
Absolutely adorable place with not only the outside looking like an old inn but alsi the pub, outdoor dining and rooms have the same rustic prettiness that I happen to love. The staff is very friendly and helpful in anyway they can. The rooms are small but have everything you need. The beds were much more comfortable that in most hotels on the Island. Breakfast can be bought in the morning and it was very good value for money and kept us going until dinner. I
Beautiful location in the lovely countryside. Once inside can’t hear the busy road at the front. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely, attentive staff. Great meals delivered by cheerful people and a happy buzz of locals and visitors. Did some shopping in the business centre attached to the hotel. Extensive choice of goods at reasonable price.
This gorgeous hotel was a delightful find in a quiet but convenient location away from the big town bustle. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bar and restaurant were great and the meals were delicious and hearty. We enjoyed our first night so much we returned for another night.
The room was quiet. The food at breakfast was good, but it started later than other places we had stayed (8:30 start time). The location was very nice. The main street in Ballyvourney has a sidewalk with nice countryside to see.
The staff was really nice and friendly, the space outside the hotel really confortable and the best good point goes to the food! Everything on the menu was delicious and homemade with fresh ingredients!
Charming, my bedroom very simple, slightly old fashioned which I loved. Location superb. . I was disappointed there was no bath.... U expect that in a property described as a hotel.
We had a little difficulty finding Mills Inn. We followed instructions of GPS which routed us on backroads. I advise taking the highway. Inn is a great Irish experience.
great food, great atmosphere on Saturday night pub after the food. really great value and based on current hotel prices in Ireland, it was exceptional value
