The very best of Irish hospitality in a lovely house. The location is just a short drive from the Shannon in Ballina, where there's a lovely riverside walk. We also took a short trip to the marina on Lough Derg at Garykennedy, which is well worth a visit.

Ann was a superb host, she had left a few bits of food and drink to get us settled. She popped over to say hello and check everything was ok. I was travelling alone with my baby so she had made sure I had everything I needed in the flat when I arrived - cot, highchair, toys - and even helped me in with the baby and the shopping!
