The dive spot is incredible and the beach is connected to the resort. The diving instructors were helpful and supportive. They were flexible with cancelations (I had a stomach issue and couldn't do the last dive) . Rooms are clean.

This is the best place to stay in the Tulamben area. The beds are so comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff is so kind. After a morning of diving or snorkeling, the massage staff is heavenly. The new Monkey bungalows are perfect for small families. I hated to leave!

The staff at Liberty Dive are exceptional. I found them to be consistently friendly, extremely helpful, efficient and resourceful. For example we asked about climbing Mt Agung and within 5 minutes, the concierge had organised a driver and guide for that night. When we checked out, the billing was meticulous.
We visited at a very quiet time of year, however the restaurant was always available with delicious meals.
The villas and pool were beautifully presented and spotlessly clean.
Overall it was a great experience, the excellent staff being the highlight.

Tulamben is a great, quiet place to stay if you like diving. There are a number of diving operators based there. There are a range of restaurants assocated with the diving hotels, and also tasty local Warungs available for the more adventurous. I recommend a 3 night stay to enjoy the diving opportunities here. Tulamben is nestled between the rocky beach and the mountains and is very beautiful.

Go there to dive the Liberty wreck only. The "coral gardens" supposedly off the resort are quite poor, Jemeluk is better. The food at the resort was excellent, but I was so annoyed at being given the wrong villa that I didn't eat there after the first night. This issue with the ocean view villas has happened to others as well- make sure you are given what you have paid for.

Tulamben is a dive resort town.
Tulamben is a dive resort town. You will mostly be interacting with other divers from around the world, dive masters, dive instructors, and dive guides. There are some very friendly and helpful store operators and some delightful restaurants but it has little to interest the general traveller. There is not much reason to come here unless you intend to do some diving or snorkelling on the many underwater attractions. You could also use it as a base from which to climb the volcano Mount Agung which hangs in the background of the town like a Damocles Sword.

Tulamben is a diving mecca with volcanic sand and many different dive sites. I only had one day, but I did three dives. I'll go back for more, as the diving is worth it. The reefs did appear to be very busy, but if you meet the right people, I am sure you'll get away from the crowds. I'd like to see more of what Tulamben has to offer.

Quite location , remote so good hotel is important. Travelled to Amed daily to enjoy view and more range of bars/ restaurants entertainment. Though great to go back to remoteness and quite of Tulamben each evening. Plenty to see on the way back to Kuta such as Virgin Beach

Nice place for divers, snorkelers and swimmers. Very reach marine life. Get in touch with Yury Ivanov affiliated with Matahari dive resort. He is an expert on nudibranch and little creatures which are plentiful in area around property. If you are experienced solo diver staff may let you dive solo even at night. I did six night solo dives there.
One thing we liked the most about the hotel was the fact that they offered scuba diving sessions right at the resort. The sessions were very well organised and targeted to one’s individual needs. Very friendly and helpful diving instructor. The individual villas were spacious and clean. In addition, it is possible to hire a driver directly from the hotel in case you would like to go to Amed or other destinations in the vicinity. Definitely a recommendable spot to stay if you plan to go scuba diving.
The place is very cozy, calm, and quiet with a beachfront view, the landscape is amazing - beautiful sunset and Mount Agung at the back. The staff are very helpful, friendly and nice. Internet connection is good for working, both in the common area and in the room. The place is clean and private with a very nice clean interior. Love that they use glass refill bottles for water refill instead of plastic - appreciate their sustainability efforts.
This is a bit of a gem in Tulamben. Spacious and comfortable room with open bathroom. Strong and hot shower. Drinking water provided. Good bed. Nice and spacious porch with pool view. Super friendly staff specially Wayan. Only 2 rooms so it’s almost like a private place. If you are diving I’d recommend bringing your gear and try to ask for Saz to be your guide if you like macro. Also, if you like cats they have 3 very friendly ones.
For families with drivers this place is absolutely ideal and highly recommended. The service at the drive center is exceptional. Diving is super easy with several very good reefs and a wreck directly in front of our rooms over a pebble beach. Great visibility and abundant marine life.

The location is perfectly near the more attractive dive spots in Tulamben. The resort was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the DMs were all highly knowledgable. We had a second floor room, and the balcony was unexpected (it appears all the second floor rooms have them), so that was a nice surprise to be able to hang our wet gear. Usually it takes up the shower!
Beautifully kept hotel, friendly staff, accommodating dive team that helped us get 3 dives into 1 1/2 days. We saw barracuda, turtle, eels, rock fish, and so much more... including a Mola fin. Everything was serene and picture perfect. Waterfront villa was amazing. Thank you to the whole Siddhartha team for making the first stop on our Bali trip so memorable.
Beautifully landscaped resort right on the beach. With only a few villas, it would always be a quiet resort. The rooms were full of character, as were the grounds and restaurant area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was massive and beautifully designed. The infinity pool was also beautifully designed and one of the best I’ve been in in Bali.
Spacious room cleaned everyday. This resort is big and the garden is well taken care of. Has big swimming pools to chill. The dive center on-board is really well equipped and staffed with friendly dive guides.
From the resort to the famous liberty wreck is just two minutes and the diving here is marvelous. I'm very happy to be here.
A great hotel right on the beach with perfect view, great staff, lovely restaurant and good infinity pool. Snorkeling right on the doorstep...hundreds of different fish...no need for diving. The little bungalows are great and the outdoor bathrooms fab. Several good restaurants nearby. Can't recommend highly enough.
Great little resort, very friendly staff, nice pool, nice rooms, decent restaurant. I did a dive with them to the wreck which was fantastic and would highly recommend them for diving. They also have snorkeling gear you can rent which we did on the first day there which was very nice too.
We had a great time staying here! We wanted to dive the ship wreck and we had an amazing experience. The venue is very good and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We would absolutely recommend this location if you're looking to stay somewhere to dive in Tulamben!

I stayed 6 weeks in Bali hoping around. I went to do mostly diving but found the dive staff more interested in smoking and their phones.
The breakfast was good and the kitchen staff were wonderful.
Nice area- close to diving area. the outside is a beautiful garden with a clean pool. there are not many rooms so it is peaceful. they have outside showers but are private with good clean hot water.
