TP is not really a tourist place. The infrastructure is not really developed and the rubbish and water pollution is not under control.
Its certainly interresting to see a third world country , but without any help of local people a foreingner is lost.

Not much of tourism destination. But food is excellent and cheap. A great choice of seafood lover. Lack of convenience public transport for tourist. Local people are tremendously nice . Spent your time to visit Penyengat island which is nearby for a culture and heritage experience !

Tanjung Pinang is provincial, despite it's status as the regional capital, so doesn't have a significant tourist industry but there are indeed things to see and do on a short trip.. One of the local restaurants, the Manabu, is close by, with a great view and good food.

We visited the thousand statues, Trikora beach and not to skip the Lagoi Bay. I met a gentlemen from German taking photograph at the Lagoi bay. It was a wonderful trip. My daughter enjoyed driving all the way utilizing the GPS. We took our dinner at Tomo Restaurant as Manabu restaurant was fully reserved. This will be our next visit.

Love historical value of Pulau Penyengat!
The seafood at Pulau Penyengat jetty was super fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced.
Please avoid monsoon months if you are coming from Malaysia via ferry. Taking flight will be a better option.
Mr Rahmat is very professional and has good customer service. Night market with Chinese food is just opposite the hotel within walking distance. Ktv lounge in the hotel is good and the manager is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are new and fully equipped. The breakfast variety is good. Value for money. They even provided complimentary pick up from tanjong pinang ferry terminal to the hotel. Thanks to the team for the great customer service. Will recommend all to book alltrue.
Room was just good, spacious enough, clean. Breakfast was most excellent, one of the best I've seen (and I've seen a lot).
This hotel on Bintan is just very good. I noticed it had that reputation on the island, that's also why some friends recommended it to me, and the hotel certainly lived up to its reputation.
Staff is very nice and helpful, the ones at the desk, as well as the people at the bar and kitchen.
I can't imagine anything better on the island.
Surprised that hotel arrange for pickup from ferry terminal though i didn't ask for it. Most of the staff were attentive to my needs as a handicapped person. Although there were a few black sheep who were permanently in a bad mood. 1 guy especially was great. Offered me a ride on his motorcycle on my checkout day after seeing that i couldn't get a taxi.

We’ve stayed big resort with much higher rate but the every stanard and management style didn’t meet international standard.
This place takes very good attention to service and quality details compared to other hotels in batam and bintan.
Staffs are nice too.
Even the the location was not near to the sea area but it is still the best and clean accommodation with good friendly services. Breakfast was good and maybe could have given a range of both local and English breakfasts. This will be our family getaway when we come back to Tanjung Pinang again.
The hotel at up hill ... near the feri port ... near the mosque ... easy to find food ... every where is a walking distance ... I will come ... tq to Pak Dedy ... you are very helpful ... the staff very helpful ... highly recomended all tuorist and friends ... you will never regret ...
Limited food option but the food was tasty and price was a lot cheaper than what you would pay at a top resort in Bintan.

Clean and fantastic service. Hotel staff do not speak english but they are polite. Throughout the stay, was able to ask for towels and accessories refillable for the stay without issue.
The price is economic for this hotel, considering the facilities provided it is still worth for the price.
So far there is no special problem or issue on this hotel.
The hotel is very close to the ferry terminal and the rooms are nice. Besides, they offer free transportation from and to the terminal. Very good for the price.
