This place is a gem, very clean and the food is amazing! Staff were very friendly and attentive at all times. The pool area was just stunningly beautiful and just very luscious with tropical gardens and plants. Loved the buffet breakfast in the mornings. My double suite I stayed in was very clean and very comfortable, the room had slippers, robe, complementary toiletries and a safe. I recommend this place to couples and singles that like the peaceful quality time to themselves. With all the other ammenties of the hotel I give this place a big thumps up and i can't wait to come back for a second stay.

Bali’s oldest beach resort retains its reputation as a glamorous alternative to nearby Kuta. The coastline of Sanur has a long stretch of white sand lined with restaurants and bars. It is tailor made for chic clientele or families wanting to relax in an exclusive resort or villa without the need to party into the wee hours.
Sanur is also a popular day trip destination for tourists staying in Kuta looking to do some water sports. There are many companies offering diving along its submerged outer reef, jet skiing on top of its blue waters or paragliding in the cool breezes above this ocean paradise.
The shoreline features a cycle path that is also perfect for walking and jogging. At its very northern tip is the ferry terminal that offers boat trips to Nusa Lembongan, a small island off the southeast coast of Bali that is famous for its laid-back atmosphere.
Sanur has its fair share of markets providing an impressive range of artistic handicrafts such as wood carvings and batik paintings. Best of these are the Sindhu Market and the daytime beachfront market.
Sanur is the closest beach to the island’s capital, Denpasar, with its many temples and museums. Booking.com has a range of hotels along Sanur Beach or close to Ngurah International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport.

The locals call it sleepy sanur because there is not much night life. By Balinese standards the traffic is light. There are lots of restaurants along the beach and the main road. We go here for a quiet relaxing holiday. If you want a quiet place this is the place to be as it is only 30 minutes from the airport. It doesn't take long to get to the activities that people like to do for tourism. It is a lot closer to the good region than is Kuta etc.

Sanur was the best town for me to visit with an 8year old.
Sanur was the best town for me to visit with an 8year old. Not nearly as congested as the rest of Bali with good eating, swimming and sightseeing activities. Its NOT dirty and full of litter as a lot of reviews suggest - but then again - if you want 5 star instagram holiday - go to the rest of Bali and live in the virtual world - Sanur is REAL.....Thank you

Sanur is one of the original old settlements.
Sanur is one of the original old settlements. Really interesting area with lots of various things to see and many various places to eat, relax and refresh. Main St offers shade in both morning and later afternoon, so there is sun protection for sight seers / window shoppers. Doctors and pharmacies available if needs must. Lots of choices for shopping. Bartering still available in most shops, so give it a go. The seaside corniche / promenade is a wide path accommodating both bikes and pedestrians can stroll, taking their time to enjoy the ambiance of the seaside spots. Fabulous - it just feels so exotic - the balinese people are so lovely and you truely have the feeling of being away from your usual grind. Looking forward to returning already!

Sanur used to be a place for relaxing.
Sanur used to be a place for relaxing. Unfortunately it is now full of people. The music on the beach is not there. The atmosphere has gone and the ladies in the beach and stalls are rude and pushy. Locking you in shops till you buy something or following you on walks and grabbing you.

Sanur is more relaxing than other resorts like Seminyak,...
Sanur is more relaxing than other resorts like Seminyak, Kuta Legian etc and that's why this is our second visit there. The beach walk is a delight with plenty of bars and restaurants to suit everyone's budgets and taste. We ate at some lovely restaurants and went back a couple of time to our favourite places which served the best food and excellent live music. Sanur seems small at times to other places but our second visit we found places we had never found first time around. It is so much more relaxing than the frantic resorts which i've already mentioned and when we first visited Bali and stayed in Seminyak which we hated it wasn't until we visited Sanur for a day that we decided we would holiday in Bali again. We will visit again in the future and do a 2 centre like Ubud and Sanur and get the best out of a great relaxing time.

Lots of restaurant/bar options. People very friendly.
Lots of restaurant/bar options. People very friendly. Main narrow road through town very busy and dangerous to cross. Walkway/bike lane along beach is great. If you like to swim in the ocean this is not a place for you. When the tide is out there is no water for swimming. (Ankle deep 🙁)
Very nice Hotel in the centre of Sanur. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is set back from the street in a beautiful garden setting, with a nice sized pool in the middle of the complex.
You don't get any street noise, which adds to the peacefulness of the experience.
When you leave the property, you are in the heart of the Sanur action, directly across the road from the newly opened Icon Bali, and close to plenty of restaurants and bars.
Sanur is the most peaceful, stunning place and Tandjung Sari is definitely the jewel in the crown! Very unique Balinese bungalows with its own pool and private beachfront. The attention to detail is fabulous and the staff are dedicated to delivering an amazing level of hospitality and truly make the holiday! My husband had his birthday on our trip and the hotel made a wonderful celebration dinner for him! incredible!
It was our first stay at prama we where very surprised when we arrived was not expecting the hotel to be Soo big and wonderful.then the driver told us it was the old Sanur hotel many years ago.it was the first time I ever came to Bali over 30 years ago I couldn't believe it is was nothing like the days it was one of the be est hotels I ever stayed in Bali. Definitely coming back .
The staff were all fantastic. Friendly, helpful and very attentive. Food served was all very high quality and the other resort facilities were excellent. The pool area was an oasis and the location was close to lots of restaurants being a short walk from Sanur and right on the beach. I highly recommend this resort for families or couples.
A great place for a family to stay in Sanur. The hotel is a good size, 12 rooms and 7 villas with a central pool and bar area.
