The best homestay in Java! Dave the host is a legend. He's super helpful and very fun to be around. If your in need of anything he can easily sort it.The place itself is super clean, very spacious and in a great location close to the beach. The space has lots of nice places to chill out in between surfs. The breakfast was so tasty, best banana pancakes around. Can't reccomend Daves homestay enough!

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at Hadi's Lodge... Oh and what a top man he is!! The room was nice but the bathroom was fantastic!! Showering as if you were outdoors is my favourite thing to do and this did not fail me. Absolutely nothing was to much trouble for Hadi or his staff. They were fantastic.... Hadi help us book our train as our credit card wasn't working. He also took us himself to the train station the next morning at 4am 🙏 The Beach is a 4 minute walk and you literally have to yourself.... You're not close to the town but Hadi offers good food and we could get a beer or two!! Also we arranged our turtle trip with Hadi and the Green Bay walk which was brilliant.... I'd definitely stay here again! 😍 Just a suggestion: A menu showing the food on offer and prices. Also a price breakdown of the trips.

Everything was amazing, we were supposed to stay just 2 nights and we ended up staying 4!! Sri, the host of the homestay, is just wonderful. She is friend with everyone in the village and she can show you around or give you great recommendations, specially if you are the type of traveller that wants to avoid crowds. I highly recommend staying here and explore the area, also don't be shy about talking with Sri about anything (including prices if you are not convinced), she is the kindest and will explain everything, since she always wants to make sure their guests are happy with their experience at her place. Also, she cooks all meals herself (and sometimes with her family) and it is the best food we've had in all Indonesia so far.

We enjoyed the area, access to the beach, and the locals' friendly and warm welcome. The surf spot was right in front of the property. You could check the waves and be in the water two minutes later. The line-up is welcoming and people were there to encourage each other. The Mojosurf staff were kind and ready to help, the manager was lovely and always responded quickly to messages.
