Very basic hotel, made for divers. If you are there to dive you will enjoy it. If you are not a diver, your stay can bit slightly boring, as there is nothing to do. Beach is quite dirty, spa had good price quality, food was good.

Made from Puri Hai organised our transfer and ferry to the Gili Islands with much patience to our group. Breakfast in the morning was simple but tasty. Great location if you need to catch the ferry.
Situated 600 metres from Padang Bai Harbor, Kerti Beach Bungalow and Restaurant features an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Free parking is provided for guests who drive.

The breakfast was good. The location is great. You may want to ask for an upstairs beachfront room. The restaurant has a good menu with reasonable prices.

Fantastic villa / kind of private hotel with 3 women from the village taking care of house, doing the dishes, pool and garden. Making daily breakfast or (as we skipped breakfast) made lunch. We stayed with 2 people, so got one bedroom. Bloo Lagun beach for snorkling, with a small but fine warung, is on the other side of Padangbai (don't take a boat from the harbour, just walk or drive yourself). Our contact with the host, Emelia was very good, she helped and adviced us with driver/ taxi and the planning of some activities. Also helpfull when we needed a doctor. First we stayed a week. A week later, when our travel plans changed, we just decided to return for some more days. This villa is a good place to find some days rest during / after travelling in busy Bali or Indonesia.

Beautiful beaches, need own transportation which easy to access to desire location, quiet town during night, limited restaurant, if you plan for relaxing SPA or massage need to plan ahead of time, the shop closed early.

We had never heard of PadangBai and only visited to catch the ferry to Nusa Lebongan. Pleasantly surprised to find this small town offering good restaurants, live music (Omani Omang), good diving (Absolute Dive), and pretty scenery.
The negative is the amount of plastic garbage in the sea and on the beaches. I don’t know if this is common to the region, but I strongly recommend the communities make a concerted effort to clean this up. The plastic garbage was appalling and detracted from the ambience.

The pier wasn't as bad as expected although the condition could be improved considering it's very busy and frequented by many tourists every day! Be careful if porter scam as someone will approach you asking to help and will charge you in the end for the service. If you need an assistance, do agree in advance on the fee.
Do note that a harbor tax is compulsory at IDR10,000 per person.

We stayed at Padangbai to catch the fast boat to Gili .
We stayed at Padangbai to catch the fast boat to Gili . We got up early as the drive in showed us a very pretty part of Bali we have never seen.
This is a very cute little fishing village and gateway to Lombok and all it's Islands. The locals are very friendly and honest. My husband left his mobile phone in the taxi and the hotel called the taxi driver who had it back in 5 minutes (he was thrilled at the 100,000 Rp roughly $10 AUD tip)
There was a good selection of restaurants on the waterfront offering lovely fresh Indonesian and Western food we loved the Ikan Bakkat (fish in banana leaves) spicy and delicious. The Cocktails did not disappoint either and my husband welcomed a few cleansing Bintang Beers.

There are afew nice places to eat along the front we stayed 1 afternoon and night before travelling to the gills and that’s enough nothing to see here really. Good food tho in both restaurants on the front we picked and there was also plenty of people selling snacks etc at the harbour. It is like most places in Bali, chaotic with traffic and the people especially the harbour.

There is a small port town which is ok. A few beaches nearby
are a bit surprising given that its a busy port.
I would never return to this port, as Sanur is more sane. You will
be in line and feel like a hearded animal before you even get onto
the boat, try to avoid this experience.
FastboatGili changed our reservation, said it was overbooked
even though had a deposit in advance. Morning of boat departure
the boat company tried to rip us off...just be clear on what you paid
and your balance, dont be intimidated. The boats from here are generally
overpriced but not much you can do about it.
The location was superb, as were the hosts. I was greeted by Marcel and his wife with authentic warmth- the type of welcome you rarely get these days, and that you cannot forget! I appreciated Marcel sharing his wisdom and knowledge of the balinese culture over dinner, helping with my gili tickets and plans, and overall the little oasis they both created, with a view of padang Bai to die for. My room was clean and comfortable, the outdoor shower was a plus and made for a super authentic stay. Would highly recommend.
Really like this place. The owner and staff are great, very genuine and old school hospitality. Padangbai itself is often an aggressive tourist trap, so it's nice to come back to accommodation that is the complete opposite to that. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a balcony and view. Fan is adequate. Rooftop terrace has great views and the breakfast is excellent. Pancake was the best I had in Bali. Wifi in my room was good. Value for money is definitely the best you will find in padangbai.
We loved the comfort and the cool of the room. The food was amazing—we had our lunches, breakfast and dinner there. We were able to communicate with the hotel days prior to our arrival and our pre-arrival. We arrived early and still they had the room ready and booked us in. The Staff and Reception were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We highly recommend the resort.
The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. We were able to rent a scooter directly from the hotel, so easy and convenient. The bed was very comfortable and air con was good. The location was nice and close to a great little beach, Bias Tugel and perfect for a stay if you need to get a ferry from Pandangbai.
Friendly staff, they picked up on time and good value of money they provided pick and drop from the hotel which is very much convenient, highly recommended and they are flexible with the ticket as well if you would like to adjust you can let them know in advance. Thank you😊
less than a minute walking distance from the ferry. the owner Enny was amazing at helping us plan the ferry and also a taxi to our hotel on Lombok. she’s very honest about options and helped us book the best price. the breakfast was the best and the room is so comfortable
The location is great - it was perfect for us for a night before taking the ferry to Nusa Penida. Everything is in walking distance.
Lovely hosts and great breakfast. We also loved the decor - everything is so colourful and has character, unlike a lot of hotel rooms!

The location is outside city center quietly located. A nice black sand beach is in walking distance (200m). The very friendly host is taking care for the well being, hotel staff is supporting with tours and arrangements.
The view !!! Great service excellent coffee- community breakfasts :) Padangbai is a small lively village and though there is alot going on sound wise, we surprisingly got our best nights sleep at the Lemon House!
it is a very spécial village! 3 Times in Bali, I always stay at least 3 days in this hotel. it is a wonderful and magical place with great food, great spa and great people !!!
