Do not take motorbike taxi and taxi, use Grab for both. Most private motor bike taxi and taxi is likely to scam you especially you are not local, driving to a wrong place, look blurr, suddenly don't understand what you are talking about and ask for more money. Locally I can't find any tours. They prefer you to charter the whole taxi to places of interests. It is not worth it for single. Grad don't do tours and private motorbike taxi and taxi can but again plenty of unforseen situations and incidents to milk you for more money along the way. Look for reputable or recommend by hotel is safer, not touts in the streets.

There are many shopping malls within Nagoya City itself.
There are many shopping malls within Nagoya City itself. Don't have to worry about looking for meals as there are many restaurants/food stalls within these malls. The price of items found in the malls are reasonable. I had my own transport (chartered), so it is very convenient for my family of 6 to move about.

no sense of EMERGENCY!! I WAS TRAPPED IN A LIFT BUT IT TOOK ABOUT 45MINS FO4 D RESCUE TO COME.. IN FACT I CALLED D FRONT OFFICE SHE ANSWERED MY CALLED ONCE AND THATS IT! D SECURITY ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING!! IN FACT D GRAB DRIVER THAT I BOOKED WHOSE D ONE THAT CAME TO MY RESCUE.. IF U WERE IN MY SHOES WHAT WILL U DO... AND M HAVING A HEART PROBLEM.. I CANT EVEN BREADTH PROPERLY FOR D NEXT FEW DAYS.. BUT SERIOUSLY IT TEALLY A BAD EXPERIENCE....
We booked two rooms for 4 nights, the twin room size is ok, got balcony facing the main road, but abit noisy from the motorbike sound at night, I requested to change the room facing at the back. Reception staff Joyce managed to change one room for us facing the back, no balcony but much quieter environment. Staffs are friendly, hotel restaurant breakfast was quite ok more on Indonesian food style. I enjoyed the karaok room over there. convenience to Batam city like Nagoya shopping mall.
I really liked the service provided during my stay. In my booking, I indicated some special requests which were all fulfilled. I was also able to check in early and check out a little bit later (upon requesting). The variations of food was also ok. Theres rice, fried rice, spicy fried noodle, cut fruits, coffee machine, hot tea, cereal, bread and egg station. I liked the egg station the most because its cooked on the spot and its hot. The porridge was cold and lumpy.
The hotel staff were warm & friendly. Especially to mention the hotel reception staff, Ms Wina who assisted to accomodate to our requests. The rooms looked very new & conducive for our family to stay in. The air-conditioners were working very well & the bathrooms were very clean & well-maintained. The hotel is also surrounded by many interesting eating places & street stalls. Location wise, it was easy for us to travel to other parts of Batam. Thank you very much!
Thank you for arranging for connecting rooms eventually for my family. As a result, we had a nice and comfortable stay for the 2 nights in Batam. The location of the hotel is superb with 2 big malls next to it and it is not far from the harbour as well. The breakfast has a good variety of food and we enjoyed it a lot!
Service from the hotel staff is excellent. They were very patient in answering all queries and even checked to see what time we are arriving. Even the bellhop opens the front doors for us every single time. Breakfast buffet is nice too with a good selection that's caters to both children and elderly.
Location was very good. 7-10min walk to Grand Batam Mall, A2 Food Court, 15min walk to Nagoya Food Court. Easy access to cheap eateries and old shops in the Penuin area. Mineral water is provided although you have to ask for it from the second night onwards.
Like the spacious grand entrance of the hotel. Staff very friendly and breakfast spread was adequate. Surprise to see Jamu also served but enjoy that local touch. The room was cosy and bed is comfy. Great location close to harbour bay and city.

The places all nearby. Easy access to walk around and take grab to Nagoya and BCS. Seafood was good and walking distance to hotel also. Hotel breakfast was unlimited. Cant expect too much cause not 4 stars or 5 stars hotel
Breakfast is good. Hotel room includes places for Muslim player (NMas) displays the direction to Mecca( KIBLAT) at the ceiling. Night view is very nice. It is quite place and suitable for both couple and family.
Friendly staff and they provided free shuttle to grand batam mall and nagoya mall. Room was spacious and bed is huge. We had an enjoyable stay at Yello Hotel!!!
