Such an amazing homestay! As soon as we arrived we were welcomed into the family. Aziz took us out to local restaurant, rice field tour, to visit a local waterfall and even to the local school. The accommodation is very clean and peaceful with views of a lovely garden. Bed is comfortable and got a great night sleep. Yes you can hear the mosques nearby but this is the same everywhere in Lombok. Breakfast omelette and coffee was incredible, Lombok style. Thank you so much to lovely Aziz and family, one of the best places we have stayed.

Everything was perfect! I wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this place. I could sit on the front porch all day and just enjoy the view! The staff were incredible, taking time to chat with you which was really nice! The shower in the room was spectacular, the water felt really fresh! We rode up on scooters from Kuta so we could explore the area. There are a bunch of beautiful waterfalls nearby. There’s also a lot to see just on foot near the place as well. There is a warung next door run by the owner’s wife. The food was great and well priced. I would highly recommend coming to this place and if you can stay an extra day or two, it’s worth it. Don’t rush out of this place!

We had an amazing stay at Ariel Bungalows. Anya and his family are so kind and welcoming. The food was always delicious and the surroundings are so beautiful. We did the walking tour with Anya and it was great - he knows so many people in the local area so we could stop and help harvest the rice, have local coffee etc. Our stay was my highlight of our time in Indonesia. The room is simple but comfortable and clean. The shower is hot. After being in the very hot humid Gili islands we were worried about not having aircon but the temperature in Tetebatu is very nice and cool in the evening. There are also not many mosquitos.

Suef and Anggi immediately made us feel at home and part of the family. Everything you could want and more from a Homestay. Suef took us to all of the best locations in Tetabatu: swimming in waterfalls, seeing black monkeys and the rice terraces. We were especially blown away by how much grows in Tetebatu and how much they grow on the property as well! There was no need to find any Warung near by because Anggi is the best chef that we’ve come across in Indonesia. We hope to come back and see princess Arumy all grown up!
