We had an amazing stay at Bliss Ubud Spa Resort. We took a Villa, and it was just perfect romantic stay. Everything about the vila was just fantastic. Plus we got a complementary massage which was incredibly relaxing. But the thing that i need to emphasize the most is THE STAFF. I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot, and this is by far the most polite, most hospitable and most helpful staff i have ever encountered. If you go to Ubud, and you want to be hosted by amazing people and have a romantic stay, this is a place to go! 10/10

Peaceful location Well cared for older style property. Beautiful gardens,spacious rooms and clean. Staff were excellent. They were very attentive and responded respectfully to anything we asked of them. Friendly and eager to please. We had a lovely rapport with the staff in the restaurant it was lovely to be welcomed always by our first names and looked after. Close to markets, restaurants and shops.

Michel is a very kind and attentive host. All the instructions were clear, and he gives you good advice on things you can do around the area. The hotel is a half-hour walk from Ubud center, which is nice because the area is far away from all the crazy traffic, and it's very quiet and relaxing at night. It's not an easy walk to the center because of the traffic, and the roads are quite steep, but you can book a Grab very easily and go everywhere. Breakfast is nice, and it's all homemade. The room is very big and comfortable; there is air-conditioning and a minifridge. The bathroom is huge. The attention to detail for the furniture is really impressive. There is also a nice patio outside each room, which is nice if you want to chill in the evening. As a solo traveler, I felt safe all the time, and I really enjoyed my stay, even if it was for a short time. Thank you very much.

Above all, we'd like to commend and rate all the staff members 10/10. As a family with young kids the pool was definitely the highlight of this hotel. Location wise, the best thing was it's walking distance to the sayan night market (however, it is not advisable to walk back in the evening as the streets are very narrow, minimal lighting and heavy traffic) all staff members were very friendly and accommodating (again, re emphasising the high rating for their exceptional customer service as a 10/10 and can not fault them) Side note: To save yourself the confusion, this place is best searched up as *Ubud Raya Shala* this is important to note, especially if you're coming from the airport or needing the actual address when leaving the hotel embarking on your Ubud adventures.. don't bother typing in the name Ubud Raya Boutique Hotel on Google as it would only confuse you due to another hotel near by with the name of Ubud Raya Resort (which isn't it) Check out Pepito supermarket instead of Bintang supermarket, it's located near by the hotel (by car) Visit Sayan night market (much more pleasant experience) in comparison to gianyar night market (pasar senggol Gianyar) despite the high rating on Google review Sayan night market is smaller but has a better vibe, better food and if you're fortunate to visit around mid - late August Sayan nightmarket has rides/games for kids located opposite the market which is heaps of fun to engage in the festivity with locals.
