The best place we have stayed in Bali, and we have stayed in 15 + hotels before. Exceptionally clean, rooms are big, light and spacious, with new furniture.Villa has great design (pictures do not reflect how nice it is), rooftop where you can practice yoga (and you can be given a yoga mat even!). There is a pool with clean fresh water, it is a pleasure to swim there during a hot day. The hosts are extremely welcoming and nice, it was a pleasure to communicate with them, they told us a lot about Balinese culture. We loved this place so much that we moved our next destination dates to spend a bit more time here. Also I have to mention that the villa has a pretty good wifi connection, convenient for remote work. Will definitely come back in a few weeks to spend more time here!

Just wanted to give feedback on our stay at your property in Hacienda Lovina.
-Property : Was nice and lovely. Nice and quiet locality.
One thing we would have appreciated was a guide on which roads to take. The roads we had to take were very dangerous. While we were there a guest in some other villa died as he fell down the cliff. Ketut gave us guidance on roads after we arrived.

Ayuk was an excellent cook, food was prepared timely. Some of her food was even better than the local restaraunts.
Ketut was such a blessing to have. We arrived at the property at 2 am in the night and Ketut was still there waiting and had prepared food for us. Was always there to help.
Roads were really bad and we almost fell off a cliff, our car was stopped by a wooden post damaging the front bumper. Ketut even helped us repair the car , hiring a mechanic and making sure the car was repaired to mint condition.
We really miss him even now.
Next time we come to Bali we will 100% book the same villa just because of Ketut and Ayuk 😁

Too many boats ruined the dolphins experience. There should only be a maximum of 20 boats as there were hundreds, a complete flotilla. The last time I visited we were able to see the dolphins and watch them leaping in the air. This time they just tried to escape the hundreds of boats it was awful. There should be a roster or something. I also forgot to add that the food in Grand Villandra was awful. When I broke my wrist there were no ambulances and we had to pay $20 for ride to hospital and luckily we had insurance.

Lots to do in lovina, but lots to SEE in sambangan, very authentic area, typically locals only which is nice but beware to feel out of place if you are the type to feel such way.

The beach, like all the others we visited in Bali, was filthy.
The dolphin watching, from everyone we met, should be avoided (about 100 boats all chasing after a pod of dolphins).

Lovina is like Bali before tourism boomed.
Lovina is like Bali before tourism boomed. People very friendly and shop owners arent too pushy to buy things. Great choice of places to eat out and bars to drink. A lot of accommodation options from very budget to very pricey. Easy to find transport or food delivery, even though they have discouraged Gojek and Grab in Lovina. Easy to find peace and quiet and uncrowded beach, unllike the southern part of Bali. The beaches are dark sand which is fine except that it is very hot to sit on the beach! The water is calm and of course, perfect temperature.
Our family has been traveling throughout Bali for the past two weeks and this hotel is the most unique and beautiful place we stayed in!!! All the staff were so warm and welcoming, they treated us as family, helped in booking various activities and drove us to specific locations. The food was excellent and the treatments we got at the spa were superb. The place is so quiet and peaceful and the ocean views are breathtaking!!! We will definitely return to Villa Selonding Batu in the future and highly recommend it to all!!!
Lots of open spaces plan space to relax, very comfortable beds and bedrooms with excellent air con, lovely clean pool, beautiful sunsets from balcony overlooking beach, a great base to explore this area of Bali. Worth getting a driver for excursions . Well maintained property and garden , 24 hour security, felt completely safe here Perfect for group of friends or family though for younger children would choose the villas to the rear of the property. Easy walking distance to lots of dinner options and local warungs..
What a great hostel and people! I had such a great stay and met some amazing people! Location is amazing (pure center of Lovina), price is affordable and the staff is the best! Huge thanks to Ayu for helping me with everything possible during my stay! 🥰 The owner is also really kind and chilled person! The hostel vibe and like minded travelers makes you stay longer than expected which was my case. I highly recommend this hostel and I will come here for sure if I visit Northern Bali again! the grounds are spotless. the bungalows are located about 2-3k out of the town center. there is food and beer at 1000 dreams and it costs as you would expect. also a few earrings nearby and a hotel next door with a restaurant. the best was the peaceful quiet of just enjoying the day looking from the infinity pool to the ocean. the hostess, Dian, treats you like family throughout the whole stay
We had a fantastic time at Funky Place Party Hostel in Lovina, Bali. The lively atmosphere and helpful, funny staff added a special touch to our stay. The nightly live music created an upbeat vibe, culminating in a memorable New Year party on the funky beach. Our overall experience was delightful, and we particularly enjoyed the treehouse near the beach, providing the perfect spot to unwind.
The pool was great, the staff are Soo friendly. We got 2 joined bungalows and they were lovely and clean. It is a beautiful, small, personal hidden gem. The massages were the best we've had. The food was lovely. It is a great little hotel and if there is one thing we'd have changed about our travels around Bali is that we'd have stayed here a little longer.

Everything was perfect. The room was clean and well maintained, the breakfast was good and the host was so lovely! The gardens were really nice and it was great that we could use the pool of the hotel next door. I would expect to pay a lot more for the quality of this room, it’s the best homestay we have stayed in in Bali.
I loved the aesthetic of this place- the mix of bohemian and Bali is beautiful. There were charming little extras everywhere I turned and the staff was kind and accommodating. I booked a tour through the hotel- it was a blast. The price was more than fair and my guide was fun, friendly and full of interesting information.

The staff were so welcoming made us feel like family and couldn’t do enough to help us.. great breakfast and restaurant, cheap amazing massage on site, beach at the bottom of road and shop opposite… a perfect base to explore Lovina! drinks with the staff on our last night, so upset to leave!

We stayed here one night for the dolphin tour at lovina beach. The room was clean and we had a huge bathroom. We really enjoyed our time here. The staff and the owner Budi were really friendly. They also helped us organize a taxi driver with a fair price for our next stop.

The hotel is right next to the beach, the swimming pool is big and very clean. The wifi was strong. The room was spacious and clean. They have a nice piano and a double bass you can play. Nice gym with sea view.
Great location for the dolphins! Breakfast was very nice, good value, rooms were very big. The pool was nice. We booked a tour of the waterfalls through the hotel and it was the best tour we did in Bali!
The property is lovely and right on the beach! Walking distance to restaurants and the hotel was able to make arrangements for activities if I desired. They were great!
