I have always preferred to stay in Legian due to the proximity to the beach and local shopping areas. It's a short stroll to Seminyak and far enough away from Kuta. It is easy to get transport if needed and close enough to walk to places.
I will continue to stay in Legian on my future Bali trips.

Legian is such a central place in Bali.
Legian is such a central place in Bali. It is easy to book tours if you wish to wherever you wish around Bali they will pick you up and drop you off. The staff in the resorts etc are so friendly, and the place is so clean. Everything is very Aussie orientated, you can watch the footy AFL, NRL, etc if you wish. You can also enjoy the Balinese culture in so many local bars and eating areas. The wild life is lovely to watch squirrels scurrying up the lovely frangipani trees, the goldfish and catfish in the lovely ponds around the resorts all very well looked after.

Legian has great shopping, wonderful restaurants and bars.
Legian has great shopping, wonderful restaurants and bars. So many food places to choose from. They have drag queen shows and we ate at a different place everyday for dinner and every place was delicious. Fat Buddha, Zest, Romeo’s and Aussie bar and Corner Bar were some of them. They were within a 2 to 5 minute walk from Sevn Legian where we stayed. The prices were all very similar and cheap compared to Australia.

Legian was busy like all of Bali.
Legian was busy like all of Bali. It is what we expected however, we could get away from the crowds in the sanctuary of the hotel. Lots is eating spots/ sports bars/ restaurants. Not really much shopping to our liking however we did walk the 25minutes along the beach to Kuta where there was the big shopping centre including Victoria secret, Uni glo etc.
It was incredibly busy. Too busy. We didn’t get our room till 90mins after check-in time. First time ever, anywhere in the world this has happened. They gave us vouchers for dinner but we we already had plans the night the dinner was on and by the time they got back to us for another option it was past dinner time and we were already out. We heard this is the best hotel in Bali. It was great but very expensive and foe what we got, not worth it. Prob the time of year we went but we won’t go back.
We made full use of the wonderful facilities offered by Bandha Hotel and Suites - pools, Mozzarella restaurant, bar, gym, and Visala Spa, which offered exceptional, quality service. The staff was always kind and attentive. Our accommodation was perfect, offering space and cleanliness. Comfortable pillows and fluffy towels are guaranteed! We loved the location close to the beach, and an easy walk to Legian shops and to the Seminyak beach restaurants. It is an excellent choice!
The staff here are the best. Everyone is super chill and and friendly. The hotel has recently been renovated. The rooms are spacious and clean with good a/c. The pool is lovely.
Situated down a quite lane just minutes from the beach and shopping this hotel is such great value for money.
I travel to Bali twice a year and stay at Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel every time.
Tip: try Ketut's Garlic butter Chicken at the restaurant. Awesome.
relaxing garden atmosphere with 2 pool options. grounds were well kept, room was spacious, clean and well equipped with fridge, water, etc. I liked that it had a Bali theme from the wood carvings in the lobby to the statues on the buildings. authentic.
Beds were comfortable with great pillows makin for a good sleep.
buffet breakfast gave u a wide selection of choices
staff were friendly, helpful
What an exceptionally beautiful little oasis to stay on the border of Legian and Kuta.
Room and bathroom clean, comfortable and quiet.
Breakfast choices varied and magic.
Staff accommodation, helpful and kind
Close walk to a variety of all types of eateries, as well as convince store and bottle shop.
I highly recommend Arana Suie for a short or long time stay in Bali
Strategic location near legian beach, food, minimarket, club and other fasilities. You can walk around the Legian, Kuta and Seminyak areas. Nice villa with complete facilities (have private pool) clean and comfy. Rob and Cathy are nice people, communicative and clear. And thank you for the welcome flower bouquet.
Lovely older style Balinese resort. Loved the lobby with traditional musician playing in the evening. Beautiful view from our upstairs spacious room with glimpses of the pool through large trees and established gardens. Central location with an easy walk to Seminyak and Kuta along the beach.
We had a lovely stay at Baliana Villa with our family, the property was spacious and great to be able to have space after a week in a hotel room. Our family LOVED the pool table and area upstairs, great to have different zones to relax. Older style Bali Villa close to Double 6 beach.
Hotel is very well located in a very touristic place and facilities are in accordance with price. Even in Bali, you cannot expect a 5 star resort for that price. There are still a pool, a gym and a spa, 3 bars and 2 restaurants. Staff is very friendly.
The staff at Legian Beach Hotel were exceptional. We lost our phone in a taxi and their security team went above and beyond to help locate and retrieve it successfully. The head of security Rai and the hotel manager Marutha deserve a special mention.
Balinese style hotel with loads of character. Gardens all beautiful with manicured lawns. gorgeous pool area surrounded by gardens. Staff all incredibly friendly and helpful. Located very central on Legian Street, walking distance to everything.
Quiet Balinese style hotel in Legian, in a great central location, built back from the street.
Huge rooms, with an outdoor bathroom.
Beautiful swimming pool, and good restaurant on site.
Good plentiful hot water.
Helpful, friendly staff.

Breakfast was adequate. Location was great. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Gardens are stunning. Best hotel in Bali. Would love to come back
