I have always preferred to stay in Legian due to the proximity to the beach and local shopping areas. It's a short stroll to Seminyak and far enough away from Kuta. It is easy to get transport if needed and close enough to walk to places.
I will continue to stay in Legian on my future Bali trips.

Legian is such a central place in Bali.
Legian is such a central place in Bali. It is easy to book tours if you wish to wherever you wish around Bali they will pick you up and drop you off. The staff in the resorts etc are so friendly, and the place is so clean. Everything is very Aussie orientated, you can watch the footy AFL, NRL, etc if you wish. You can also enjoy the Balinese culture in so many local bars and eating areas. The wild life is lovely to watch squirrels scurrying up the lovely frangipani trees, the goldfish and catfish in the lovely ponds around the resorts all very well looked after.

Legian has great shopping, wonderful restaurants and bars.
Legian has great shopping, wonderful restaurants and bars. So many food places to choose from. They have drag queen shows and we ate at a different place everyday for dinner and every place was delicious. Fat Buddha, Zest, Romeo’s and Aussie bar and Corner Bar were some of them. They were within a 2 to 5 minute walk from Sevn Legian where we stayed. The prices were all very similar and cheap compared to Australia.

Legian was busy like all of Bali.
Legian was busy like all of Bali. It is what we expected however, we could get away from the crowds in the sanctuary of the hotel. Lots is eating spots/ sports bars/ restaurants. Not really much shopping to our liking however we did walk the 25minutes along the beach to Kuta where there was the big shopping centre including Victoria secret, Uni glo etc.
We made full use of the wonderful facilities offered by Bandha Hotel and Suites - pools, Mozzarella restaurant, bar, gym, and Visala Spa, which offered exceptional, quality service. The staff was always kind and attentive. Our accommodation was perfect, offering space and cleanliness. Comfortable pillows and fluffy towels are guaranteed! We loved the location close to the beach, and an easy walk to Legian shops and to the Seminyak beach restaurants. It is an excellent choice!
Beautifully stunning villa with everything you need, tucked away from the busyness of Bali but close enough to get to where you need by bike. The photos don't do it justice, it is beautifully designed and spacious. Plenty of room for two couples or a small family. The housekeeper was so wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely stay again. I do recommend hiring a bike as we struggled to get taxis from time to time. You can get anywhere really easily with a bike!
We stayed in both the 3 br and 1 br units. First 3 days with friends and then with wife and kid.
The rooms are large, nicely appointed and comfortable. The 3 br unit has excellent light. The 1 br has less light (it’s on the ground level) but is still comfortable.
The breakfast is excellent. The kids club is also great if you have young kids. The staff is exceptionally kind and d accommodating even by Balinese hospitality standards.
I have stayed here before with my family. We really like staying here and it's great value for money. The family room is such a great size, The bathroom is a little small but the shower is big. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Great location. The massage area is amazing and so relaxing. The girls that work there are fantastic.
I would definitely stay here again when we come back to Bali
The location is walking distance to Legian beach, restaurants and bars, massage parlours. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The family room on the main building overlooks the poolview. From the outside of the hotel it doesn't look appealing but the beauty is inside.bRoom size is quite spacious. You can borrow a power socket adapter and hair dryer at the reception.
The hotel is in a great location right across the road from the beach & right near the heart of Legian.
Staff were very helpful & room was immaculately clean.
Breakfast is plentiful with heaps of options.
They also did an amazing tradioninal Balinese buffett dinner out near the front temple which was delicious- highly recommended!!!
Lovely hotel in a quieter part of Seminyak/ Legian. Right on the beach front.
Lovely pools, good breakfast and the staff were so helpful and welcoming. Stayed here the night before flying home, just to be nearer to the airport. Exactly what we needed at the end of our holiday.
The location is easy to find and near the food corner, so you won’t have any trouble to find any kind of food. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, really represented the beaches in Bali. The room is quite large, they upgraded us to junior suite, we really appreciate it.
Very good hotel for the price the food and drinks at the hotel were fantastic and cheap. Last time we went to Bali we stayed at the hard rock and we had a much better time here. But in saying that we did pay under $50 a night here so you can’t expect 5 star standards
Excellent hotel with friendly and very helpful staff.
Amazing breakfast , hotel located in the heart of Legian, 10 min walk to the famous beach.
2 pools one for adults second for family with kids.
Cleaning staff done very well, room was top class
Balinese style hotel with loads of character. Gardens all beautiful with manicured lawns. gorgeous pool area surrounded by gardens. Staff all incredibly friendly and helpful. Located very central on Legian Street, walking distance to everything.
if was my second stay there, the people at the reception were adorable, very helpul they provided me all the informations i need for have a wonderful stay in bali, my room was confortable and very clean. I love also the location of this hotel
The restaurant was amazing, food delicious. Breakfast had everything you could want and more. Location right on the beach. I love that the Legian Beach Hotel is pure Balinese no western influence at all. Traditional rooms and furniture.
For the price - the one bedroom is amazing. The small living room actually doubles up as another room with the large comfortable sofa bed.
Location is just spot on. 5 min walk to Bali beach. Food & entertainment available everywhere.
Rooftop pool is the best. The hotel price is so affordable, nor the quality. How much you can pay it's how much you can get, don't expect too much. But with this cheap price, I can afford at least a comfort place to stay in Bali.
Love the location. My usual hotel was fully booked so I tried the Rama Garden. I am sure this will now be our new favourite accommodation hotel. Still in excellent location and still have the best satay in Bali!!
it is super kids friendly, if you are planning to visit Bali with kids, this is the best hotel to stay at.. no one cares if you baby is crying in the middle of the night
