I have always preferred to stay in Legian due to the proximity to the beach and local shopping areas. It's a short stroll to Seminyak and far enough away from Kuta. It is easy to get transport if needed and close enough to walk to places.
I will continue to stay in Legian on my future Bali trips.

Legian is such a central place in Bali.
Legian is such a central place in Bali. It is easy to book tours if you wish to wherever you wish around Bali they will pick you up and drop you off. The staff in the resorts etc are so friendly, and the place is so clean. Everything is very Aussie orientated, you can watch the footy AFL, NRL, etc if you wish. You can also enjoy the Balinese culture in so many local bars and eating areas. The wild life is lovely to watch squirrels scurrying up the lovely frangipani trees, the goldfish and catfish in the lovely ponds around the resorts all very well looked after.

Legian has great shopping, wonderful restaurants and bars. So many food places to choose from. They have drag queen shows and we ate at a different place everyday for dinner and every place was delicious. Fat Buddha, Zest, Romeo’s and Aussie bar and Corner Bar were some of them. They were within a 2 to 5 minute walk from Sevn Legian where we stayed. The prices were all very similar and cheap compared to Australia.

Legian was busy like all of Bali.
Legian was busy like all of Bali. It is what we expected however, we could get away from the crowds in the sanctuary of the hotel. Lots is eating spots/ sports bars/ restaurants. Not really much shopping to our liking however we did walk the 25minutes along the beach to Kuta where there was the big shopping centre including Victoria secret, Uni glo etc.
Great value for money in a very central location on Legian with plenty of shops at your doorstep. Exceptional staff who constantly went above and beyond with their service and always wore a smile, truly reflective of the warm Balinese hospitality. Room was small but clean and had a flat screen TV. Overall, the property exceeded my greatly expectations for my 4 night stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Grandmas Legion, especially the front desk!
Beautifully stunning villa with everything you need, tucked away from the busyness of Bali but close enough to get to where you need by bike. The photos don't do it justice, it is beautifully designed and spacious. Plenty of room for two couples or a small family. The housekeeper was so wonderful and accommodating. We will definitely stay again. I do recommend hiring a bike as we struggled to get taxis from time to time. You can get anywhere really easily with a bike!
The location is walking distance to Legian beach, restaurants and bars, massage parlours. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The family room on the main building overlooks the poolview. From the outside of the hotel it doesn't look appealing but the beauty is inside.bRoom size is quite spacious. You can borrow a power socket adapter and hair dryer at the reception.
All staff are very humble, the room is so clean, the service is so good and fast response. They are so welcoming at check in time, they give us Bali's souvenirs and get us in a picture with them. The food is delicious. The pool is cleaning everyday. And last but not least, thank you so much for design greeting anniversary wedding on my bed with swans towel&flowers.🥰

We were concerned the location might be a problem, but everything is easy accessible via the small alleyway on to Legian St.
Airconditioning! 3 aircons, on before arrival and maintained the temperature. Pool had shade- first place in Bali we have seen this. Staff going out of their way to help. Nothing was ever an issue.

This is not our first time. we've been staying in Pullman every time we went to Bali in the last 10 years. As always, the room was spacious, clean, good breakfast, nice pool, Great kids club activities (the boys love it so much), the gym was good, beach is just across the street.
Gardens were beautiful and well maintained, location was perfect. The whole hotel was gorgeous. Defiantly worth paying additional for club suite, breakfast at azul beach club was the best we had in Bali. We had the semi outdoor shower which was stunning.
