One of the first Bali resorts, Kuta has a long, sandy beach and great nightlife - reasons why it’s one of Indonesia’s top tourist spots.
Another popular draw is Kuta surfing. From gentle rollers to lefthanders, the waves are great for all abilities. Several shops in town sell big-brand surf gear at knockdown prices, while other shopping options include Kuta Square, Discovery Mall and Bali Mall Galleria.
There’s also no shortage of places to eat. Street vendors offer local fare, while international cuisine is served in restaurants of the Kuta hotels on Booking.com. When the sun goes down, the heat goes up, as the bars and clubs in party zone Jalan Legian kick into life. For something more refined, the bars by Kuta Beach waterfont are a great spot to watch the sun set with a refreshing cocktail.
If you’re up early enough to see the Sanur Beach sunrise, you might get to see locals throwing traditional offerings into the sea. Spirituality is a big part of Balinese life and there are yoga and meditation classes, not to mention spas to revive the senses.
The gateway to southern Bali, Denpasar Airport is right on the edge of the town, so it won’t be long before you can stretch out and soak up the sun.
Kuta is great for souvenir shopping. I don't look for high-end brands when I shop in other countries. Instead, I want to buy good quality keychains, fridge magnets, bags and other fancy gifts to give friends. In that sense, Kuta fulfilled my expectations. I found what I wanted in Keisna and Agung Bali. They have different types of goods, so I'm glad I visited both.

I think maybe Kota is the first developed place .
I think maybe Kota is the first developed place . So it is not really clean and I think it’s a little bit complicated place but if you like party and the drinking it is the best place for you. But if you like yoga or something, Ubud is the best place for you.

Kuta has not recovered totally from pandemic.
Kuta has not recovered totally from pandemic. Many of our favourite restaurants gone but some new ones to replace them. The art market going inside a building is sad. Doesn’t have the same vibe. Feel sorry for the stall holders as the tourists do not go to the top floor. Matahari going has changed the central Kuta square area. It looks sad. Many dilapidated buildings standing empty. The people are still fabulous and friendly. A reflection of what is happening globally post pandemic really. Bluebird taxis brilliant and well priced make it so easy to get around Kuta.

We liked everything about Kuta.
We liked everything about Kuta. Just the wrong choice of the hotel made it boring. It has got a fabulous beach, beach walk shopping, great restaurants , great sight seeing places and great shopping. . 2 days are more Than enough for Kuta. For getting around just hire bikes and off you go. It will save you time and money. Also you can see and appreciate the outdoors when you go around on a bike. You can go deep insde the villages and explore the greens. Avoid tour packages .
Beautiful hotel. Clean, well maintained, family orientated hotel.
One of the better breakfast buffets in Bali and several options of hotel restaurants. Gracie Kelly’s has been a favourite since they were located within the hotel (they are now in their own space at the entrance to the hotel).
Kids club was clean and well staffed. Pools are crystal clear and kept clean of the dropped flowers from the surrounding gardens.
Our little ones loved feeding the fish in the koi pond and the kids pool/ water play area.
One of the best hotels I've ever been to worldwide, and trust me, I travel a lot and have been to many hotels. The staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful. The property faces Kuta beach and is located near many restaurants and markets. The amenities and facilities in the hotel are perfect. The pool is very relaxing, and the view is amazing. They have two restaurants serving delicious food, and the environment is lovely. A must-book if you're planning your trip to Bali (Kuta/Seminyak...).
Back for a 10-night stay at one of our favourite locations in Bali. Friendly welcome and great service throughout our stay. It's still our little oasis away from the bedlam of the traffic and shop/stall holders in Kuta. My wife enjoyed the relative privacy of the pool with most other guests enjoying the attractions during the day. I headed to mt favourite spa for some pampering. 3* rated hotel but much better than 3*. Looking forward to our next vacation.
Hotel driver picked us up at airport..after 2hr wait through customs and was still friendly and polite.
Check in was a breeze.
Room was nice. Complex clean and inviting.
Breakfast was amazing!! If you couldn't find something you liked from the astounding selections then the problem would be you lol! The staff were awesome. We only stayed the one night before heading north, but really happy we have booked our final night in Bali here also ..
great place in the center of Kuta! The rooms are super modern and clean and have everything that you need! enough space to place your stuff and even a fridge! we had troubles with the aircon in the middle of the night and the staff came just for us to fix it. everyone is super friendly and makes you feel like at home. highly recommend this place! one of the best accommodations we had in Bali!
My experience was very bad here. I went with my family there. First of all this hotel doesn't have its private beach. It misguide people by saying that it is Beachfront hotel and have its private beach. Actually it is located opposite to leigan beach Bali. There was no pest control in rooms. There was many centipede moving in my room. I have a video of that insect in my room also.
We spent 1 week in this lovely boutique hotel and everything was great including breakfasts, restaurant dinners, massages, swimming pool and room service. The staff is very kind and helpful. Given that the hotel is not that big, we felt like home away from home. Free transfer from/to the airport was a good bonus. Thank you, we had a great time in Vira Bali!
Out of Bali's dizzying number of beaches and resorts, we decided on Kuta primarily because we'd be just steps away from beginner-friendly surf. That it faced westward and we could enjoy the sunset every afternoon was a bonus. The more open layout of the resort meant we didn't feel packed into rooms with the other tourists. Very friendly and helpful staff!
This was one of my favorite airport hotel experiences. We arranged an airport pickup as it was late and it was prompt and a short drive to the hotel. The staff were lovely and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. For the price I can't imagine anything better. This will be my go to everytime I pass through Bali airport.
Stayed one night before checking into our villa and it was really comfortable and great value for money. They offer a free shuttle service but it arrives every hour so we opted to take a quick taxi ride. Hotel is clean, staff friendly and great options for breakfast. Would recommend as an airport hotel before exploring Bali!
The room was good and the breakfast tasty. It's not the type of hotel I would like to stay many days, but for one or two nights it's ok, especially because the city Kuta is not nice compared to other places in Bali, e.g. Ubud or Uluwatu.
Really loved the welcome by the hotel staff the day we landed in Bali. A lot of hospitality, and always ready to help. The atmosphere at the lobby and the restaurant was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious too.
This hotel was fine, some limescale/mouldy parts of shower but generally all clean enough. I think hotels in Bali have gone up in price so comparing to previous stays I feel it wasn’t as good value considering
A small clean hotel with lovely staff. Good for travellers on a budget or for a 1 night stay after arriving late to Bali. Basic facilities with a clean room and comfy bed.
Absolutely wonderful hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Kuta Beach. Clean, cheap, safe, incredible staff, Good WiFi, nice pool. I would stay here every time I’m in Bali
Very comfortable rooms.
Breakfast.
Friendly staff
Location: very good for a short stop over in Bali;
Walking distance to Kuta beach.
Free airport transfer.
