I booked the property as a solo female traveller who was coming to the end of their solo trip and did not want to spend any more nights in a dorm room. For the area I was looking, the price that I paid was more than reasonable. I was slightly worried about the accomodation on the drive down the street, but upon arriving and seeing the hotel, I was more than pleased. It was clean, there was a pool and the room was had everything I needed and more than I could want! Taking this from a backpacker who has been on the move for the last year, the fact that there was a kettle and bottle of waters in the room blew my mind.

The room was really spacious, with a lot of furniture - night table, working table, shelves, and a sitting area in the room, and also in the terrace. Our room was amazing. It was immaculately clean, huge and beautiful. As it was my birthday, staff went above and beyond with a happy birthday banner, cake, and hand made birthday card in the room. At breakfast, they all wished me happy birthday and went out of their way to make my day special. Breakfast was brilliant and the options were fabulous. I wish I had stayed here longer.

Jimbaran stands out in an increasingly busy Bali. It's a much shorter trip from the airport so you get more time to enjoy it with less stress. The sand is less volcanic and the waters less challenging. The dining opportunities are unique and worth the visit alone. If you want to enjoy a more peaceful Bali of the old days, this is the destination for you.

There is no sidewalks and walking with children is extremely dangerous
Bookings.com recommended this area as family friendly and I'd strongly disagree my children 9 16 18 and 20 found the area to be extremely overwhelming and scary

Jimbaran is very accommodating because it is next to the airport, by following the beach road you can avoid a lot of the traffic towards Uluwatu.
The atmosphere in Jimbaran is still very local, unlike Canggu or Seminiak.
So this has its advantages and disadvantages. Authenticity must be appreciated.

Hotel has rooms on the main floor. Rooms with patio doors open onto cute little swimming pool. Hotel across the path like street has a nice restaurant for breakfast. Or you can dine in the restaurant on site of this hotel. Caution it is tricky walking on streets at night time.
What an amazing stay. We stayed at Fox hotel for the last 2 nights of our Bali holiday. The hotel is located on the beach road. Just a 2-3 min walk from the beach. Close to lots of restaurants and 15 mins from the airport. The staff were amazing! Everyone always had a smile. Mr. Ferdinand made sure our stay was extra special. The room was very comfortable and was well maintained. The hotel overall was very pleasant to stay in and clean. They served a really great breakfast as well. Book this hotel for your stay in Jimbaran!
The good location is clean and has friendly staff. The villa is located in the Jimbaran district, with nearby markets, grocery stores, and restaurants. 5 min ride by scooter is the Pepito market. 15 min ride is the Balangan Beach (nice to swim and surf, and it has a the nice viewpoint of sunsets). The complete kitchen with all tools to cook. No mold and no bad smell. Cleaning 2 times a week. Very friendly staff (to communicate with them they have a WhatsApp group). The air conditioning works very good.
The upshot of having our flights cancelled was a serendipitous 2-night stay at Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort. It was the perfect place to finish a two week Bali trip, across the road from the beach and numerous beach-side restaurants. The restaurant served excellent food overall, with the breakfast selection a highlight, while the rooftop bar had stunning sunset views overlooking the sea. The pool and wellness centre were also top-notch as were the rooms and service. Highly recommended.
I stayed here 20 years ago and I can only say that the Balquisse has managed to keep it’s special private villa feel while greatly increasing its occupancy capacity. the pools, gardens, food and excellent service were greatly appreciated by our family. Rooms were cleaned and serviced everyday. The location was excellent with only a short walk to Jimbaran beach and restaurants. If you are not a walking kind of person you can take the hotel shuttle.

You can use all the facilities in the resort, including pools , different restaurants and ofcourse ROCK bar Bali.
You can book at Rimba or Ayana resort, but the shuttle service is good and you get to explore all the hotels and their facilities

We needed a clean room, quiet away from the noise, that has great sun light and the staff was gentle to provide it and answer to our needs. It was clean and comfortable, we only slept one night for a stopover.
Quite close to the fish market and the grilling restaurants and to the night dining experience in Jimbaran beach.

Everything was so amazing. Serene, beautiful pool area, comfortable room, kind staff, and the Cafe has a beautiful view of Jimbaran Beach and the food was delicious. Recommend the dragonfruit smoothie and Indonesian fried rice. Highly recommend the Balinese massage that you get in your room on the bed- perfection.
