Beautiful location, great food and fantastic staff. We loved our stay here! Our host Josef organised our whole trekking experience and also organised our transport to and from the bus station. We did 3 days trekking with our brilliant guides Anwar and Darwan. Their expertise was second to none, it was such a pleasure to share this experience with such knowledgeable and friendly guides, we loved every minute. The only downfall was that we couldn't figure out any of Josef's card tricks 🤔 🤣

The guesthouse is in an amazing location, on the shore of the river. The rooms are cosy and have a nice terrace facing the river. Andy and his bother were very nice and helpful all the time. The banana pancakes for breakfast are delicious.

This is a beautiful place to do tracking. Even though we didn’t go tracking, we stayed for a couple nights with and without electricity and Wi-Fi so that’s a minus.  The food was nothing special, but edible. The people were nice enough, but I think there are other places around where you can get a little more interesting environment in terms of service.

Lovely accommodation in the heart of nature, just outside the village, with the view on a lovely pond and a few minutes walk from a big river. Well maintained, the accommodation was comfortable and clean. Loved their choice of soft pastel colors for the buildings. The bathroom was nicely tiled and of a reasonable size. There is a restaurant on site, and Chef Elly is a gold nugget. Her bubbly attitude is so attractive that you want to eat all your meals there. She's a gifted cook, and with her 'Elly process', her high five, and her big smile, you know your food is in good hands. We will definitely miss her and the rest of the very friendly staff, playing music at night, and sharing useful information with us.

The owners were absolutely wonderful. Putra is an outstanding tour guide and does all he can to protect the jungle. He has unlimited energy and wants you to have one of the most wonderful experiences of your life. The food was fantastic and lots of it. Your tent in the jungle was neat and clean. Your trek is geared to your ability and interest. Guaranteed 99.999% to see Orangutans in the wild with lots of different kinds of monkeys. A trip of a lifetime and me at 82! Putra and Mia traveled for at least 9 hours to get my meds to me and only asked for gas money. Very conscientious and truly wonderful people!

The most beautiful people i ever stayed with And beautiful room with an amazing atmosphere Quite and peaceful,the bed so comfortable the bathroom with really nice decorations and good shower and it was super clean and well decorated.To get to this bungalow really easy access and you can get something good in super market (indomaret)just about 5 minute away with scooter, The view of the ricefield and the green surrounding is just what I looking for. They organize my jungle trekking with the best guide (jipur,aji and bagus)for 3 days 2 night Which is so great and fun So much knowledge of the jungle,animals and medical plants. It's a very nice room that has two terraces, a big bed with mosquito net and a fan, but no AC. The view is beautiful from the window. The property is about 20 mins walk from the 'center' of Bukit Lawang, but I think there's actually not much point walking there, since this palce has a restaurant too with really nice food and very reasonable prices. There's also a supermarket in 5 mins walk too, if anything is needed. The owner is from England so it's perfectly easy to communicate in English, but also most of the other staff members speak English.
