We were two families and our stay exceeded all expectations. The apartments were clean and equipped with everything you need. The yard is equipped for children and includes a trampoline, pool, water and garden games, grill and seating areas. The hosts were very friendly and communicating with them was easy and efficient.

Staff was nice while checking in, the room was perfect for us, we're on a holiday for the weekend. Location is perfect, it's a 5-minute walk away from the railway station and the Velencei lake. But in a brisk 20-30 minutes you can even get to the market place, visit the aqua park or drink Agárdi pálinka at the factory.
The breakfast is in their own restaurant that deserves a visit on its own right.

The best thing about Velence lake and its surroundings is that there is minimum of foreign tourists, because they all drive to Balaton, Budapest etc.
The majority of holidaymakers are locals.
Its also a good destination for cyclists who can bike around the lake and visit villages nearby.
The lake itself is very shallow (good for nonswimmers) with healing stinky mud on the lake bottom (suitable for skin problems).

Lake Velence - the better option if you plan to enjoy Lake...
Lake Velence - the better option if you plan to enjoy Lake Balaton area. From here you can even visit Budapest by train. Activities like bike tours around the lake, bird spotting or enjoying secret beaches (not the main one) will make your stay an exciting time
Excellent apartment in Velence Spa complex. Very easy to get into the room (lock box). Great communication with the host (in English). The apartment was very clean, well furnished & kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed all the little details that the host provided for our ultimate comfort.
Great views from the terrace, apartment is very spacious and well furnished, beds were comfy, no issues at all. We stayed as a group of 4 adults and 1 baby and we had plenty of room.
The location is really beautiful, and the entire building where the apartment is located is connected to a Wellness & Spa hotel. The pool water is 30-32°C, which was great for the kids and us of course. There is also a restaurant available. You receive two wristbands for access to the Wellness & Spa area. All in all, very nice.
Big house with two big rooms, kitchen and toilette. Kitchen was equipted will all necesary things, even to prepare lunch. Parking space on the premises.
Velence lake around 20-25 minutes of walk. Around 10 minutes of walk bakery and bar with cheap but very good lunches and dessers.
Location, big room, very close to the swimming pools - it is not necessary to leave the building, a lot of attractions for kids e.g slides for kids in the hotel.
