Our host, Sanya, was fantastic, wanting to help and support us in any way possible. The room was fresh, new and immaculately maintained. The property was in easy walking distance to the town centre, restaurants and supermakets.Parking was excellent and location was 20 minute drive to Plitvice National Park.

Everything about the property was exceptional. We haven’t got a bad word to say about it. The location was the best in the middle of everything you could want to go activity wise. The grounds were perfectly kept to accommodate all types of guests. The staff were amazing always there to help and so friendly it was in real we will definitely be going again

A medium sized waterfall, a pond and a pedestrian path leading to the pond are varied, beautiful and endearing.

Extreme little to do in the area beyond the lakes - you can walk it all in around 3 minutes, I wish I was exaggerating! Three shops (a cafe bar / two bakeries) and a restaurant and couple of supermarkets. People were friendly enough though.

Small city that does not have anything special to offer. It has a few restaurants that are nice and a store. But it is a nice quiet place from where you can go on fieldtrips - Plitvice Lakes one of the most famous ones.

You should stay here for at most one night.
You should stay here for at most one night. There isn't anything to do or to see here. Use it at as stop to get to the lakes which are worth every penny. There is bus shuttle service supposedly to get to the lakes, but renting a car and reserving a parkingspot at the lakes is probably your best bet. The people here are very kind, they'll help you if you need something. We planned this part of the trip badly, and only because of the help of strangers a possible disaster was mitigated. The people here made everything 10 times better, from police, to servers, to the owners of the establishments, to the regular people just walking around. They are very kind. I had a great time here.

Great place to take 2D rest on our trip to Makarska.
Great place to take 2D rest on our trip to Makarska. We spent one day at Plitvicka jezera to see where famous movie with Pierre Brice aka Vinetou was made. It is wirth of you time and money. Book the tickets online at least 24 hour in advance so as you can save your time. Choose route “C”- boat and train is already included in the price. The best choice is to start at “Ulaz1”. We spent there more than 8 hours! and we really enjoyed every second there!

Perfect hosts. The Matejcic family truly went out of their way to make our families stay comfortable and enjoyable. Everything was new, crisp and super clean. 5 star ++ for a huge abs scrumptious breakfast
We booked one night as a stopover before heading to Plitvice National Park but wish we’d spent longer at the hotel. The location is stunning with a calm atmosphere all around.
The family who run the hotel were all really friendly and helped us with local knowledge regarding the surrounding area and Plitvice.
The rooms themselves were spotlessly clean and spacious and in keeping with the rest of the property.
Lots of the previous reviews have mentioned how good the restaurant is and we completely agree.
The family is incredibly friendly. We were welcomed with some Raki, which was the best Raki I ever had. They even left a nice dry sausage for us in the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious. The garden and surroundings are beautiful. Walking distance from the center of Korenica where you can find some restaurants. When we got home from a nice day at plitvice, which is very close, we were welcomed with pancakes. The hospitality was just baffling.
Everything here was beautiful! Perfect location to explore the lakes, room was lovely and clean and the whole property was gorgeous and very well looked after. Was a real treat having a spa after a long day hiking around the lakes. We also had dinner one night at the property which was absolutely fantastic. Definitely a highlight of our time in Croatia. Thank you to the family for being so friendly and looking after us so well! We would definitely recommend 😊
20/10 all around, the room was on the highest floor and it had a gorgeous view, besides that it was all new, super clean and comfortable, quiet and the shower was heavenly and it’s better than staying in a 4*hotel, I would recommend it to anyone. The entrance to Plitvice lakes is 15min away by car so it’s perfect if you’re visiting the lakes. The hosts were very friendly and answered all our questions, we would come back anytime because we loved it.
A comfortable, clean and pretty villa at Korenica. A beautiful location, some of the rooms have a mountain view. It has all the facilities described: parking, room with terrace, garden terrace, shared kitchen, shared bathroom on the level.
Also, you can reserve breakfast with local foods.
Suitable for a few days stay or a trip to Plitvice Park (17,9 km).
Overall, I strongly recommend this property.
Beautiful views, relaxed environment, very-very hospitable people. We got a plate of amazing cakes that we wolfed down in minutes! We had a nice chat about Croatia, nature, the parks, the neighborhood. The apartment is good for a small family with kids, and the pool is there all day, although we only splashed a little, after an exhausting hiking day at the Plitvice lakes.

Very warm and cozy. I wish that we could stay more days.. In local supermarket we found famous sour cabbage (produced in Lika) and we enjoyed our stay in Korenica.
Location was very easy to find, the rooms are quite new. Check-in at 9:30 PM was not a problem. The Korenica city itself doesn't offer too much, but we found a cheap grocery and it was close to Plitvicka Jezera National Park. The private bathroom looked also very nice and was equipped like in a normal hotel.
Me and my colleague stayed for two nights in Jopa apartment and we found it to be very comfortable and good. Very good hospitality. Most people are there for Plitvice lakes, but from Korenica one can see true landscapes of Lika mountains and plains, and hike Pljesevica. We would surely come again.
I can recommend this property to everyone who wants to live for some days or a day in a typical croatian style near the boarder to Bosnia.
The hosts are very friendly and comfort you with coffee in the morning and nice storys how they live their life.

Spacious apartment with balcony in Korenica which is less than 30 minutes drive to the Plitvice lakes. The apartment is spacious, modern and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Having the shower and toilet a separate rooms made it very convenient with getting ready.
The staff was friendly and the area was so remote and peaceful. This was the first hotel to give us a complimentary "welcome drink"! Although the area is more rustic, the villas are well maintained and modern. The water pressure in the bathroom was nice and strong.
A very kind and understanding owner. He willing to wait until mid night 12:45a.m. for check in as my bus was not punctual arrived to destination. Thank you very much. There is walking path from Korenica town area to the hostel and it is not far from bus station.

This hotel was very nice. The rooms are spotless clean, it has a good location near the Plitvice park and a very good and free parking in front of the hotel.
The breakfast was good also and you can eat outside if you want.
You feel like home in croatia. The breakfast, the jaguzzi the room are all perfect, the location was just 15 min. drive to the park. There are plenty of restaurant near by. Definitely come back if pass by.
