Country house Plitvice, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Country house Plitvice is a recently renovated guest house in Plitvica Selo where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.

The property was incredibly peaceful. I really enjoyed reading on the swinging bench and feeling the cool wind, checking out the farm animals, kittens and neighboring homes/inns that offer delicious food. And Plitvice National Park was amazing

Yeti Cabin, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Located within the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park, Yeti Cabin is set within the picturesque village of Plitvica Selo. Free WiFi and free parking are available on site.

The property is right next to a stream and surrounded by woods - beautiful! It was super easy to enter with a lock box, and the host Georgie was helpful, present, and accommodating. He even drove us down to the main resort lodge for dinner our first night since we had arrived right around the dinner hour. You can rely on google maps to get there, but when you get closer to the cabin the roads are dirt/gravel and not clearly labeled, so be sure to drive slowly and watch the map you'll get there just fine. Yeti Cabin itself has a very clear sign. I wish we could've stayed longer!

House by the River, hotel in Plitvica Selo

House by the River enjoys a location in Plitvica Selo, 8.3 miles from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 2 and 9.3 miles from Jezerce - Mukinje Bus Station.

The owner is very kind and explained where to go and what to see in the evening. As a result, we visited some places that are not typically open to the public. The owner also offered a nice breakfast with eggs, coffee, some ham, and cheese, which was enough for the day. There is some reconstruction happening on the first floor, and soon it will look much better. If I visit the Plitvice Lakes again, I would consider staying there again.

Plitvica River House, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Set in quiet surroundings of Plitvice Lakes National park, Plitvica River House offers accommodations in Plitvička Jezera. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

We had such a welcoming, comfortable stay at Plitvica River House. We arrived after normal dinner hours, but were still welcomed to a table and served the most amazing meal—a wonderful first night in Croatia! The meal was not rushed, and afterwards Dante gave us fantastic recommendations for routes for our visit to the park the next morning. Our rooms were very comfortable. The location makes for a very easy entry to the park! The amazing service continued even after our stay as we were sent recommendations for the remainder of our travels in Croatia. So happy we were welcomed to this country by the Sarlija’s family!

Guesthouse Anka, hotel in Plitvica Selo

Offering a spacious garden with free-to-use barbecue facilities, Guest house Anka is located on a secluded spot 1640 feet from the river Korana. The Plitvice National Park is 4.3 mi away.

A traditional guesthouse experience, my hosts were extremely kind and welcoming. I arrived late at night and at first they were unable to locate my reservation but made me feel right at home and set me up in a room while they worked it out. They did not speak English, but we were able to communicate just fine. For the price, comfort of facilities were as expected. Location was ideal for someone traveling with their own car. Beautiful view and a short 10 minute drive to Entrance 1, market and restaurants. Access to kitchen, wifi and outdoor patio were a must for me.

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park,...

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

    The location is amazing.

The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure. The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant. I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops...

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops but mostly cottages/apartments for rent, but with a few restaurants. It is very close to entrance 3 (15 minutes by foot), so you do not need the car for your stay. From entrance 3 you can either walk or take the boat to the other end (included in the daily pass of the national park - book in advance!). It is a lot less touristic, but this also means you will not find many places to buy food (even inside the park) or eat in, hence a good accommodation which provides this is very helpful.

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3...

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3 entrance of the Plitvice lakes. It is a quite village in nature without any stores. There are only a few places you can eat or have a drink within walking distance. For more choices you need a car. It maybe difficult to be in Plitvica selo without a car. Great place for outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and biking.

This small village was originally a dairy farming community...

This small village was originally a dairy farming community tucked away in a small glen among the mountains of Plitvice National Park. A few miles off the main highway, it is accessed by a lightly trafficked country road with occasional breathtaking views of the canyon below and the river flowing out of the Plitvice Lakes. The inns, in keeping with UNESCO rules, are the original historic farm buildings, which have been renovated on the interior. The inns are within walking distance of a lesser known and lightly used third entrance to the park, from which one can begin exploring this beautiful National Park.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes. We stayed here while it was raining which did not stop us from enjoying beautiful sceneries and nature overall. We bought raincoats for decent price easily. Definitely coming back for nicer weather. Place is the heaven.

Milica who was our contact at the property was very helpful and obliging in the lead-up to us arriving and then in helping organise a breakfast-to-go for the morning we wished to enter the National Park early. The breakfast and dinners were fine for a small clientele. The rooms were clean and in quaint chalets. We loved that there was a walk that you could do to lookouts from the accomodation without having to enter the park but also that we could walk to an unofficial entrance to Plitvice Lakes National Park easily from the hotel.

We visited Plitvice lakes as a part of our honeymoon trip and stayed at the Creek for 2 nights. We arrived quite late and were warmly welcomed by hosts. It is a family run place and it really feels like home! The location is great for those visiting the national park, it is only a short 10 min walk to one of the entrances, but your tickets online in advance! The hotel is cost, clean and there is everything you need in the room. Thank you to the hosts for our lovely stay! Would highly recommend this place

Beautiful and serene. Staff incredibly friendly. Got there in the evening after a long day of adventure and travel, and was so excited to find that they had beer and wine for sale. Decent dinner at another B&B was a quick walk away. Walking distance to entrance 3 which takes you directly to the boat. I had read that entrance 3 was an illegal entrance. However, there was a ranger they’re scanning tickets and we had no problem walking in. Would 100% stay here over the park hotels

Nena makes a nice breakfast like yogurt, prosciutto, cheese, bread, marmalade and eggs. The house is near the overlooks of the canyon and is walking distance to the Flora entrance of Plitvice. As long as you have a prepurchased ticket from entrance 1 (or 2?) you can enter the park there. Easy as that. You enter and head to P3, which is the boat across Kozjac lake. Continue with the rest of Route C until you are back at P3 to walk home to Nena’s

Very friendly and helpful staff, they also gave us useful tips of what to do in Croatia. This extra effort was really appreciated. Topnotch food selection prepared by Chef Padron with his own home made ingredients. Hotel includes playing facilities for children and is located in a very tranquil area, minutes away from entrance 3 of the Plitvica National Park. Free parking facilities.

The location was perfect!! We walked to the overlooks from the house easily. The next day we drove and parked near entrance 3 and did the boardwalk hike at the lakes. Lots of people but not crazy. Our apartment was beautiful. We loved all the windows! The bed was super comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Overall our stay was quiet and peaceful.

Dusan is very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. He makes good breakfast and gives good tips about where to go and what to see. The bedroom is very spacious and it is like what you see in the pictures. The best of the hotel is its location. Walking distance from Plitvice lakes. We didn’t use our car during the whole stay.
