The property was in a great location with a perfect view from the balcony of Milna Port - which was stunning during sunset.
The flat was very modern with very good amenities; all rooms had air conditioning, which helped us to escape the 30+ degree July heat.
The location was great - only a short walk away to Milna town and restaurants with some lovely little beaches nearby as well.
Robbie, the owner, was absolutely fantastic and incredibly friendly. Despite the shortness of our stay, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable: he picked us up from the port as we caught a late ferry, gave us a few extra drinks when he noticed that we were a group of friends as opposed to a family, and he gave us a tour of the property to ensure we knew how everything worked. He was always very approachable and always offered to help!
We only wished that we could have stayed for longer!

The appartment in Milna was superb. Very nice location right in the center of the picturesque Milna port. We enjoyed beach during the day and promenade in the evening. Kids loved the view of yachts and superyachts anchored in the port. Wonderful sunsets. Very pleasant experience.

The resort was beyond our expectations: it's located in a lovely, quiet gulf, overlooking the sea. Our room was big and clean, with a perfect terrace to enjoy sunsets. The resort has many cottages as well, so you can take longer walks on the property.
Heading to the beach, you have a spacious dining hall (2 floors!), where the staff take excellent and attentive care of you. From the restaurant, you can even see the pools and the sea as well. We liked the food too, it was varied every day (vegetables, fruits, meat, carbs etc), maybe a little repetitive regarding the ingredients, but we didn't mind. The unlimited pizza and ice-cream was a nice surprise!
Heading to the beach, you can access the bar where they serve cocktails and drinks, which were absolutely fine. Following a steep walk, you get to the beach, where you can swim, kayak, sup etc. Plenty of sunbeds, but we visited in September - it might be a little harder to get one in the high season. Because of the steep walk, we were happy to see that children didn't really come down to the beach, instead they chose the kids' pool next to the restaurant.
On cloudy days we enjoyed the indoor spa - not much info about it online, but it was perfect when the weather was bad. We could also play chess, minigolf, work out, or just lounge by the beach bar.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, it was very much a deal regarding the price we paid. :) We would happily recommend Gava Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday where you don't need to leave the resort you're staying at.
Just 100 metres from the beach, Moenia Apartments is a 5-minute walk away from the centre of Milna. Surrounded by greenery, it offers accommodation with a furnished balcony overlooking the sea.

The host was great and there upon arrival for an easy check in and out. The host was friendly and let us check out late! The location was perfect, a minute walk from ferry terminal and about five minute walk to many restaurants and nice spots for a drink. There’s a beach about five minutes away but a more secluded one about 20-30minute walk away. Overall a great place to stay, highly recommend for a group or family :)

Beautiful views. Great staff. Good food. Reasonable pricing.
Beautiful views. Great staff. Good food. Reasonable pricing. It was a quiet town but super cute to walk around. Not sure how far it is to beaches as we stayed on site the whole time. We also walked the strip.

Milna is a lovely town and very peaceful.
Milna is a lovely town and very peaceful. My only reservation about staying here is that it is hard to get to anywhere else on the island. The buses are not very regular and the taxis are expensive. ie €70 each way to Bol. However there is a mini van that takes people to Bol for €35 return. It is part of a taxi firm. I nolonger have the number on my phone but if you go to the bus stop there is a taxi number. If you call them and ask about the mini bus they will hopefully book you on for the next day.

The beach is great and there are some lovely restaurants such as Zalogajnica Dišpet, Omo and Bonito. More info from the tourist office about what to do would be helpful, but they did recomnend the excellent maritime museum.

I recently returned from a family holiday in Milna and have mixed feelings about my experience. The picturesque beauty of the area is undeniable, with breathtaking scenery that truly takes your breath away. However, traveling with a baby added an extra layer of challenge, especially when attempting to conquer the hills in scorching hot weather. The uphill climbs became quite daunting and exhausting, making us rethink our decision to explore on foot with a little one.
Milna's variety of bars and restaurants provided a delightful culinary adventure for our family. From quaint cafes to bustling restaurants, we were able to indulge in a diverse range of delicious dishes and refreshing drinks. The local cuisine and friendly service made dining a highlight of the trip, even though managing a baby's needs in between bites proved to be a juggling act. However, we were surprised to find that many establishments lacked proper baby changing facilities, which made things quite challenging.
Unfortunately, we were left a bit disappointed by the lack of family-friendly activities available. While the natural surroundings were perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, the options for free or independent activities that catered to both adults and a baby were limited. It seemed that most of the exciting experiences required paying for guided tours or excursions, which made us hesitant given our family circumstances. Additionally, the easier routes we found were mostly comprised of steps, making it difficult to navigate with a buggy.
In summary, Milna's enchanting scenery, charming bars, and diverse restaurants offer a wonderful vacation destination. However, the challenging hills in hot weather, difficulties of traveling with a baby, lack of baby changing facilities in some establishments, and the reliance on paid tours could potentially dampen the overall experience, particularly for families seeking a more accessible and family-friendly environment.

Picturesgue village that has a vivid marina and promenade, sufficient services and still is peaceful enough to enjoy your stay without crowds. Lots of nice resturants around the marina(try fresh fish!), vegetable market weekly, cafes, clothes shop, bakeries, groceries, pedicure, massage, churches, beaches... all walking distance. Clean, safe and so beautiful. Catamaran from Split, stopping on the island Solta. Surrounded by nature, mountains and the sea. Bus to Supetar(frequent ferries) and from there to other parts of the island.

Milna is an adorable little port town.
Milna is an adorable little port town. Bol seems to be more of a tourist hub, this place was perfect (if a little quiet due to off-season). We rented an ATV through rentamotorino.com and drove it around the countryside and to Bol. That was amazing!
Staff were all very pleasant and the place was kept very clean.
Nice pool facilities
Quality of food was good & the kitchen staff were all great (However, see note below about the food variety)
Resort was modern & clean & room was nice and quiet
Mini golf was fun for the kids
Gym was Ok, limited machines and poorly air conditioned, but does the job
Tennis court/ football pitch were good
Free ice creams by the pool were great
Omlette station at breakfast was great and the chefs were very friendly and helpful
Breakfast was good, could have been more coffee. Lots of fresh fruit, hams, cheeses. Cooked eggs and bread available. Plenty of orange juice.
Hotel is in a good central location in Milna. The pool/beach location is very nice and you can use the sun beds all day. Drinks at the hotel are very nice.
Loved it!!!! We extended our stay for one more night because of what the hotel offered. Breakfast was excellent - huge variety to choose from. Dinner was outstanding - choice of three courses from a menu. Definitelly a perfect holiday place away from big cities.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was great and Milna is such a beautiful place. Antonio quickly answered all our questions and gave us many great recommendations.
