Fabulous property very close to Plitvice Lakes which was our reason for visiting the area. The property itself is very attractive and the pool area is lovely although the water in the pool was pretty chilly. The staff were all very helpful. There is no restaurant or food served but you can buy coffee at the reception area. There is a restaurant immediately opposite the hotel and lots of other eateries in the local area.
Located within the National Park Plitvička Jezera, House Izvor is surrounded by lush unspoilt nature and springs of fresh water. The garden features barbecue facilities and a seating area.
Villa Katja is situated in the centre of the Plitvice Lakes national park, only 1 km away from the park entrance and 200 metres away from the bus stop. Free Wi-Fi is provided.

We stayed in the family room in Adriana Guesthouse - the feedback from the kids was that they felt safe, and us as parents had a good night sleep as the mattress was very comfortable. We arrived quite late, so it was nice to have a delicious home-cooked dinner waiting for us. Thank you, Miso! And thank you, Adriana, for your hospitality and great advice for visiting the Plitvice National Park. The donuts you packed for us were such a treat half way through our day! Thank you and hope to visit you again!

Big room with balcony.
Nice view.
Parking space.
Pet-friendly accomodation.
The kitchen was fully equipped.
Close to Plitvice Lakes, town and shops. Great place to switch off and relax. Room and all facilities were well maintained, clean and comfortable. Spa and sauna room was a lovely bonus and set up beautifully. Ana, who was our amazing host, set us up each day with a generous breakfast which was big enough that it also counted as lunch.

Must see place but only for 2 days. We went in September and had 1 rainy day and 1 sunny day. Area is quite spread out, a car would make things easier but plenty of reasonable taxis. The flix bus stopped at all 3 stops, entrance 1,2 and Mukinje.

Both the Plitvice Lakes National Park and many other surrounding places (Slunj Rastoke village, Caves of Barać) are gorgeous. Lots of activities available (e.g. a deer ranch, horse riding, an adrenaline park) within driving distance.

Close to Plitvice Lakes we had a great breakfast and a tasty dinner. The host Lala was very accommodating. We sat by the pool and had purchased beverages from them as well. Room was clean and inviting. We enjoyed our experience here and would return here.

Perfect location if you want to visit the lakes and the surroundings.
The "pizza" place close by is good (Bistro Vucnica). It can be crowded and they don't have enough waitresses. You might have to wait a bit if you go at busy times. Pizza was good. Mukinje market was open until 19.30 (not sure about their working hours) They have pretty much all you need for your stay.
I stayed only for one night and I didn't have the opportunity to explore longer. Definitely get to the National Park first thing in the morning, before they open (07.00) and you will have the park almost for yourself, at least for the first couple of hours. Be prepared to walk for 10km.
I recommend you to stay in Sixteen Lakes Guest House.

Beautiful scenery even if it was rainy!
Beautiful scenery even if it was rainy! A little paradise on earth.
If you love nature and hiking that's the place for you.
A great place to visit even with the family, hike with your little discoverers!
big rooms with enough space for everything. room and bathroom was very clean, providing everything hotel room does. Location is 1,5km from Entrance #2 of Plitvice NP (Entrance 1 aprox 5km). Breakfast is a surcharge but well served and plenty to choose from. Got also good restaurant recommendations as well as great hint for additional activity on our way back (kayak in Otocac)
Excellent double room with shared terrace. Everything were brand new. Room amenities like in 4* hotel.
Very fast WiFi (20/20 MBit UL/DL). GPS location on Booking.com could be better, but it is easy to find. Host were prompt on communication, everything went smooth.
The best place in the Plitvice Lakes to stay. Low price and high comfort. Hotel is located 15 mins from Lakes park in a very quiet place. Personal of the hotel is fantastic (very kind and helpful). Breakfast is very satisfying as well.
Lovely hotel, clean and well presented. Staff were super helpful and happy. Which we had more time there. Would definately stay there again if heading to Plitvice.
