Unfortunately there was a glitch in the booking so the room we booked in Palace Elisabeth was not available. However, staff were proactive in contacting me the day before and found us a better room in a different hotel. Not quite as luxurious but still good.
Lovely breakfast
Accessed spa facilities in Elisabeth and Adriana hotel- very good

The location right on the coast with direct access into the sea is great.
The outside space and beach bar make up for the dated interiors of this hotel.
The staff were all super helpful and gave us info on what to do etc. The waiter especially on the beach was running around serving drinks and clearing up.

The hosts were beyond excellent, they picked us up from Hvar Central which was very kind and not expected, and even had a glass of their homemade wine ready when he got there! talked us few some great little spots to visit and eat also.
Room was immaculate and modern, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, we highly recommend this apartment and without a doubt would be back here again in the future!

Hvar is the largest city on the Croatian island of the same name within the Adriatic Sea. The wildly undulating coastline formed a natural harbour here, a fact which didn’t go unnoticed by the Venetians, who captured it as part of their empire. The Venetian Fortress sits atop a hill and 13th-century ramparts descend to the old town.
Another castle from Napoleonic times is on a different hill offering beautiful views over red roofs towards the offshore Pakleni islands sheltering the port. Ferries link Hvar to neighbouring Brač and Vis islands, Split and Ancona in Italy.
Given the size of the city, the amount of Hvar accommodation is staggering, and Booking.com offers everything from luxury hotels with pools to cheap guest houses and beachfront apartments. Although most beaches are rocky, their scenic setting and warm turquoise waters are still a draw.
At the heart of the city is the largest square in Dalmatia. Restaurants and bars spill out onto its cobbles, ending at St Stephen’s Cathedral with its see-through belltower. Around the same time the cathedral was going up, one of Europe’s oldest theatres was constructed in the waterfront Arsenal. The Loggia is the only remain of the Governor’s Palace, and the Hvar Heritage Museum helps to put all this in context.
didnt spend too much time in Hvar town. We were mostly secluded at our small hotel but we loved the island and it was pretty easy to get to and plenty of ferries to time your arrival and departure easily.

Hvar is expensive so do not go expecting it to match the cost of living in Greece, Spain or Turkey. Eating-out is pretty much 'Fine Dining' everywhere and is apparently priced for the super yacht clientele. Supermarket prices are also more than London! It's a shame as many locals & Europeans are being priced out and this trend looks set to continue. But it's a very picturesque harbour & fortress town. We thoroughly enjoyed it and are now back to work to pay it off! 😂

carpedium diem beach is very popular to visit in day and night .. there are many bars and restaurant in hvar town nearby square.. almost all the food joints closes by 11pm .. then after only drink is available ..

We liked the quick easy access to Pakleni Islands.
We liked the quick easy access to Pakleni Islands. We had 6 teenagers with us and they loved the speed boat ride over to islands and loved swimming in different bays. We could have spent more time on Hvar and taken scooters around island

Hvar is a beautiful place, full of character.
Hvar is a beautiful place, full of character. On an evening it’s really busy around the bars and restaurants. Mostly young people. We did eat well and there’s plenty of choice. You may have to book certain restaurants but we were ok.
We stayed at Park Hvar during our honeymoon trip and absolutely loved it! The hotel is not cheap but definitely worth it, great rooms, high quality of service and breakfast was fantastic
Location is superb and there is everything you need provided by the hotel including beach towels, beach bag and more
Would really highly recommend this place!
Thank you Park Hvar team for our lovely stay
We loved our stay here. Very easy directions, and we picked up our key and were allowed to go in really early.
The apartment is lovely, and had everything we needed, it is a matter of minutes to walk into the centre of Hvar.
Breakfast was included at the neighbouring hotel, and it was delicious. Our hosts were very friendly.
Well managed hotel that works with hearts from set up, room amenities, breakfast and services. Excellent location in a quiet place facing a beach with crystal clear water and nice restaurants in hotel or few steps away. Going to Hvar town is just 8 mins away by driving.
This is my 3rd stay in this hotel.
I love Hvar and I loved the vibe from my two stays in 2023, so I returned in 2024.
I love the pool and the food.
Price is good.
This year however there was too many children. I think this should be an adults only hotel.
