The hosts made us a wonderful breakfast on the day we left. They brought it up to our room and served it on our balcony. It was beautifully done and delicious.

Lovely breakfast and excellent location! It is very peaceful, just a small village, very quiet and very beautiful. The owners were very friendly and funny, in spite of the language difference, we walked around the village and everyone we met came up to chat to us, even tho we couldn't really chat! There are lots of walks, long and short in the area, an open fire when it was cold and fantastic home cooked food in the evenings.
Set in Ámmos and only 8.2 km from Vergina -Aigai, apartment to nature B offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Hospitality:) The hosts were very kind. They recommended us a local tavern with real food and real Greeks:) We didn't have enough time to explore the surroundings which are probably wonderful, but we'll leave that for next time.
A lot to see, its a small village with good food and people.

I enjoy my stay, They are very welcoming.
The only think that I would like is for the village to take better care of the strays.
If you care for dogs and cats bring some food for the stays.

The Royal Tombs are stunning.
The Royal Tombs are stunning.
The new museum was well presented, although overrun with school kids at times,
The new palace site is a long walk uphill, will put people off. A shuttle bus would be excellent with perhaps water stall at the top. Worth the walk but in high summer would be exhausting, esp for older folk.

Extremely beautiful museum but expensive!
Extremely beautiful museum but expensive! Nice little village with many tourist shops and taverns. The archeological site is disappointing. We thought we needed a ful day to visit but actually you can do it in about two hours. If possible you could combine it with a visit to Veroia which has many things to offer and you could easily spend the rest of the day there. I would suggest: visit Vergina museum in the morning, have a lunch there and go to Veroia.

Amazing to share the same ground with Philip ll (his tomb) & walk in the footsteps of Alexander The Great.
A different kind of museum constructed to make you feel as though you are in a tomb - in fact, I believe it is built directly over the original location. Then there's the spectacular display of the contents...
The city site itself containing the palace was closed at the time of my visit
Don't forget to visit Pella with it's very excellent new museum!

Nice little village with beautiful hills and so much ancient things to see. The museum and the tomb of Phillip II. is worth a view! Even if some people say that 12€ is too much - it is worth it. You see the tombs and so much exhibits.
The ancient palace ruins are nearby - you can drive by car until the parking lot and after that you have to walk. Or - just like me - walk the whole way. It is around 1km from the center of Vergina up the hills. They are working there at the moment, so the palace is open for public from 10am - 2pm.
The town Veria is around 11km away and easy to reach with car. The public transport is... yeah. Optional. :D I waited for the bus that was called for 12am and at least it came at 12:30. The day before there was no bus at all at this time. You have to be very patient and the "german accuracy" will kill your joy.
The restaurants are wonderful as well. I had the luck to find a nice spot where I came back for at least four days every evening.

The tombs of Philip are spectaculars but do not visit the place without deep understanding of antique funeral rituals same as the construction of tombs in various periods of antiquity, otherwise is a lost of time.
It's a great place to stay to visit Vergina and the archaeological site of Aigai. In walking distance you find lots of taverns with good food. The room was comfortable and had a big, lovely terrace; the sunrise offers beautiful scenery. There is also a huge terrace in the communal area. The host is lovely. She is kind and very helpful; she gave us all the information we needed for a pleasant stay. The next She gave us a traditional sweet pastry which was very good.
A very good location in this bustling little village full of such wonderful history and antiquities. The service was exceptional. Angelika and Dimitra were so welcoming and warm; Aphrodite took such very good care to give us an extremely useful itinerary for our visit to the tombs and museum and also made us a very good breakfast to start our day; thank you! The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious.
We enjoyed our stay in this comfy guest house very close to the archaeological sites of Vergina. We were there to see the history, and the hotel's location was perfect. We parked right outside our room. Our room was clean and modern, and the bathroom had a great shower. We opted for breakfast one morning and were able to order exactly what we wanted. Delicious! Would highly recommend!
Nice looking hotel and the hosts were nice and helpful. We only stayed for a night but we got a good rest and an good breakfast. It's also a good place to stay if you are passionate about history, Vergina being known as the site of ancient Aigai, the first capital of Macedon (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Hopefully, we will come back some day and spend more time here.
Angelika is such an enjoyable hostess and her hotel is beautiful. Our stay with her was perfect in every way, and is now a fond memory. Our room was very spacious, nicely appointed, and overlooked a pretty garden. She served us breakfast on the patio and sent us away with a kind farewell. You will enjoy your stay with her!
The location was great for seeing the Royal Tomb and associated sights. Our hostess asked about our breakfast preferences and served those items. Parking is not difficult, the town is easy to navigate and safe. The hotel is nicely decorated and all the expected amenities, such as WiFi and hot water, are provided.
The hosts are nice and told us what to do around. Not much to do in Vergina but its 15 minutes drive to beautifull veria. Parking is in the spot. We didnt eat breakfast and the guesthouse is 50 meters from the main street with some nice places to eat.
very good localization - close to Museum in Wergina, very friendly and helpful owner speaking fluent English (what is not so common in Greece), own parking place just in front of hotel. Clean and big room, good price to quality ratio.
The estate is located at a short drive from the Vergina museums which is why we decided to stay there.
Breakfast and food can be served in the garden (or inside) and one can enjoy the views of the river and mountains .
The location the view and the comfort was exceptional. The hotel is run as a family business the decor is beautiful. The owners make you feel at home with there care and attention. Definitely we will return .
Small family hotel, very clean big room, friendly staff, a lot of parking around. Very good breakfast served by owners. Perfect stay for one night to see Vergina historical monuments.
The accomodation is exactly what you would expect for the money you pay.
The Vergina village has to offer more than you would expect. We visited the museum and the surroundings.
Lovely landscapes. Nice and cozy rooms, with enough space and everything we needed. The bed was very confortable. There is also a small and very nice restaurant at the hotel.
