Everywhere, the villas, the pool area and the whole site was spotlessly clean. The host was helpful without being overbearing. It was only a short walk to the bakery, a little supermarket and a good choice of bars and restaurants. The Troulos beach is nice, with a few restaurants but we also liked Maratha beach which was a bit quieter.

What can I say. We were taken to the room by a buggy every time. We were even given a lift to the restaurant in the evening and back to the hotel.

We spent 10days at this beautiful hotel, comfortable situated near the one of the best beaches in the island. Our hosts are so nice and dedicated to their guests. We liked relaxing pool area and well maintained greenery around. We really enjoyed testy breakfast with fresh fruits and other delicious foods. Trolous is a very nice village on Skiathos Island.
Trolous is a very nice village on Skiathos Island. It has everything you need for a family vacation, from shops to taverns.
The beach is absolutely perfect for children. You can rent sunbeds or stay on a towel. You can also have a little bit of snorkeling in the water (there are some interesting fish in there).
I have stayed in Skiathos for two weeks and for a family(including small children) point of view, Trolous beach was second best on the island after Koukounaries beach.

it is on the main bus route from Skiathos town to all the resorts and beaches on the coast, so very convenient. Lots of choices for places to eat and drink. A place to relax , no town as such with shops etc other than reasonably stocked supermarkets.

This place is close to the best beaches on Skiathos, lot of tavernas, more than usual in places like this. You should have car or rented vehicle to feel full value of this place. There are busses but it is better to have your own transport.

Troulos beach has a great blend of having a beautiful beach with fantastic views to rocky surround, it has a small watersports offering complete with a couple of tavernas to ensure you have all you need without it being overcrowded or busy.

It is a beautiful resort although it didn't feel like a resort it was more like lovely authentic Greek haven. The local bus is brilliant it runs from one end of the island to the other, troulos was bus stop 20, it came every 15mins and only cost us €2 each to go into skiathos town which took about 20/25 mins on a clean air conditioned bus. We spent a lot of tine at Troulos Taverna on the beach front, Costa, Nikos and all of the staff were always welcoming, the food at anytime of day amazing, there ate so many places to eat in the area you would never run out of choice.
Villa Zaharo is one of very few accommodations in Skiathos directly at sea. You look out of your balcony and see a marvelous beach. 30 metres and you are in the water. The staff at Villa Zaharo was exceptionally helpful and kind. It is a family run business and they were so helpful and friendly! They have a small bar where they serve basic food, breakfast and drinks. I cannot imagine better accommodation than this one. Rooms are not newest but everything was 100% clean. The price-value ratio is perfect.
Very friendly, efficient, and unobtrusive staff. Excellent traditional breakfast that may not be to everyone's taste but was varied, well presented, and tasty. Quiet, wonderful views, peaceful and tranquil pool area. Some lovely tavernas close by, Victoria's in particular was fabulous in my opinion. The room was cleaned daily and bed linen and towels changed frequently. Air conditioning was great. Lovely Troulos Bay beach less than 10 mins walk away.
We liked everything. New and clean inside/outside, and also the private pool. Very well decorated that made our vacations even better. The beautiful kitchen have all the necessary stuff for a family to live in confort. Also, the location is excellent, 2 min from Troulos beach by foot. In the door step, is bus station 20 that provide access to all of the island and especially to Koukonaries beach which is one of the best.
Really, it was amazing.
Spent 2 weeks here. Absolutely loved the place. Breakfast was varied and lovely. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was clean, rooms were cleaned daily and the view from our room was wow. The beach is just over the road down quite a steep path but you can also access it further down from the road if easier. The hotel is up on a hill but there are lifts to get you to either the pool or your room if you have mobility issues.
Almira Hotel not only met but far exceeded my expectations. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Everything on the property was extremely clean. It is such a beautiful and well kept property. The restaurant had the best food in all of Skiathos in our opinion. We will definitely stay at Almira Hotel again if we are blessed enough to return to Skiathos again. George and Anna were wonderful hosts!
Very friendly owners :-), fluent in English and helpful. Every day offer great coffee and an airport shuttle in the early hours. Close to bus stop, shop and restaurants. Troulos beach a few minutes walk. The room on the first floor has a nice view of the garden, where I could pick grapes and tomatoes. The room matched the photos on offer, the equipment sufficient. Great location with new on the mountain and surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. Comfortable and extremely clean studio. Helpful host, gives tips about day trip and other excursions in the surrounding area. Lovely swimming pool and sun deck. Quiet accommodation and at the same time very convenient for small shops and bus stop. Troulos beach is 5 minute walk away.
Super clean and cleaned every day, facilities are rather new in the apartment, the woman running the apartments always there and tries to help you as she can, therefore really appreciate it. Birds you can hear (also trucks and motorcycles going up hill :) )
Very good and polite hosts. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location itself, although a bit further from the town, is very quiet with the fastest access to the most beautiful beaches in Skiathos. We are very satisfied with everything.
The hotel is located very close to the supermarkets, tavernas and about 10 minute walking distance from the beach. It had plenty of parking and it was a nice size room with a small kitchen and large balcony.
Located in Troulos area ,with restaurants and pub's nearby ,with private parking ,Villa Jeanna offers a quiet and pleasant stay. The owners are very nice people, the rooms are cleaned daily.
You cross the road and easily reach Troulos beach which is nice. The pool seems well maintained. They are cleaning every day and it was better when compared to the initial room status.
