We’re sad to be checking out of Eleven today, we’ve had a wonderful few days here. Thoughtfully designed with high quality fittings, the rooms are fresh and cool to return to after a day on the quiet little beach. The pool area is modern and very nice. The location is great with a bakery and coffee shop and supermarket which are walkable, and it’s only a few minutes by car into Rethymno. But the winning feature for us was the restaurant! Beautiful food, excellent service, great views… we were really looked after. We appreciate how fantastic the service at both the hotel and restaurant was… we would not hesitate to return here!!! Thank you Eleven staff you are brilliant, professional, and so friendly!!!

The property had everything. A great pool, superb dining experiences and excellent accommodation. It is very quiet and the breakfast was extremely comprehensive, catering for all tastes.

The location was outstanding with a clear and easy walk into old town and located right across the street from the main beach with the hotel having their own daybeds (free if you bought a drink)! The staff was so helpful and they even celebrated my friends birthday, a surprise to both of us! We also really enjoyed the breakfast to include fresh squeezed orange and wonderful local honey and marmalade! We have a two bedroom suite with jacuzzi and it was amazing to sit out on the daybeds, listening to the waves and sipping the complementary wine provided by the hotel. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and thank you to the staff at Ammos for being a large part of our successful trip to Crete!

Lovely small hotel with a very pleasant pool The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms have air-conditioning which is essential. The village is very accessible from the hotel and is relatively unspoilt (few large hotels). It's a good location for touring around but a car is a must - the hotel has its own car park. We would stay here again if we return to this area of Crete.

We had a wonderful stay at Ekavi hotel and we would gladly come back again!
Most of all we loved the location of the hotel - it is by the sea. The hotel has its own private beach that has perfect depth for swimming and still safe enough. We were having every breakfast with the view to the sea and some dinners at hotel's taverna.
From the very first moment when you enter the hotel you feel that it is a family business and all the staff cares about it. Usually there is an owner Soula at the reception and she helps and gives plenty advices about everything, including travelling around Crete. She speaks English and German fluently. Also the girl and the men working at the hotel's taverna are nice, too.
We read some negative comments about the breakfast, but for us it was better that we expected were prepared to. The food was fresh, there were boiled eggs, 2 types of ham, cheese, plenty of feta, tomatoes, cucumbers, some good pastry and ect. Not a huge choice, but the food was good and absolutely sufficient for the breakfast.
We also enjoyed dining in the hotel's taverna.

Zen apartments are beautifully maintained. They are fresh and modern with first rate fixtures and fittings, including top of the range furniture and appliances. There are also touches of luxury and attention to detail, including hotel style bath robes and slippers.. There is even an optional daily cleaning service! The pool area is very relaxing and comfortable.
The owner is very helpful and friendly. He and his wife keep the property and communal areas exceptionally clean and tidy!
Amazing new hotel, everything was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic (especially the croissants :). The hotel is family owned and at breakfast we were served by the grandpa, it was very sweet. We had to leave very early and they packed us food to go. The hotel was very clean and new. Their restaurant was full of local people, which is why I assume that it is also very good. It felt like the staff really cared about us which made our trip so special.

Great assorted breakfast, served at the hotel's taverna with a nice view over the private beach and the sea.
Big parking lot. For a good mobility in the area and for going to Rethimno center it's recommended to have a car.
Tip: It is a nice road to Matala beach that goes through old villages and olive plantations. From the accomodation just go South straight over the mountains.

The last week of April we stayed with the whole family (7 persons) in the Velvet Breeze Villa in Stavromenos.
It was a great experiens. A marvellous house, a splendid garden, a lovely swimmingpool and a amazing vieuw.
From a friendly welcome with a welcome meal from Thomas up to a nice farewell-souvenir (little olive trees) from Kiki.

Very spacious room. Good sea view, as advertised. Very peaceful and calm settings, super clean pool and a small private beach. Towels and rooms exceptionally clean. Mosquitoes were killers, but the hotel provided an additional plug-in device. Would recommend to people who are looking for calm and relaxed get away - although, if you don't mind the stiff beds :)

The hotel is brand new and There are just a few rooms which makes it perfect because it’s not crowded at all. The rooms are very nicely decorated. We had a really pleasant and quiet stay. The service was impeccable and I can highly recommend the restaurant on the property where we had most of the meals during our stay
The hotel was beautiful and modern and located right on the beach. We loved our balcony with beautiful views of the ocean and pool. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant was very good. Clean and comfortable. Some restaurants and a grocery store were within walking distance.

Very comfortable, modern and new hotel. Great Breakfast, which takes place in the restaurant next to the sea. Spacious room und when we we're there it was not crowded at all. We were mostly alone at the pool. Windows are very soundproof, you don't hear anything from outside.

We were only there for a short stay, but my family loved the pool and the breakfast. The hotel management is so welcoming. There is also a nice dinner option just a 1 minute walk down the road.

I wish I had to say something more because the landlords were really kind and helpful and they try hard to cover the weaknesses of the hotel. It seems that this is not enough.
