The room was spacious and stunning. Really well equipped. And a nice drying rack attached to the wall on the property.
The food is home cooked, nothing fancy but delicious and not over priced. Breakfast pancakes were delicious and their version of Cretan salad was yummy. The home made lemoncello which they left in the room and served after meals (offering a choice of that and Ouzo)
Beach bed policy was not to charge on days with a lot of cloud or some rain even though lots of is still used them for at least some of the day.

I had an incredible experience staying at this hotel! The location is good, just steps away from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the sun and sea. The room was very well-equipped, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including amenities and a cozy atmosphere.
The hotel’s breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to start the day right. I also tried the restaurant for lunch, and the food was excellent. Both the quality and service exceeded my expectations.

Pleasant place, very close o the see, it is quiet - appropriate both for working and relaxing. The ladies at the reception are very nice. Each room has two balconies, so there is a possibility to find sunshine &/ shadows throughout the days.

Apartment was spacious and clean. Very good air conditioning. I felt that the property was overpriced at €110 a night, normally for this price you would get breakfast included. The staff in the restaurant were excellent, especially Alex who was so kind and friendly. The food was of a good standard, my husband particularly like the Gemista (stuffed pepper and tomatoes) which according to him was the nicest he had tasted.

Touristy beach town extending along one road with lots and lots of restaurants, bars, hotels etc. lovely to get away from the road onto the beach. Beach was calmer and more relaxed away from the town centre.

The beach is nice, one can enjoy both sunrise & sunset at it. Warm waters. You must have beach shoes, as it is mostly made of rocks. You can go around by foot or bus, which runs every 20-30 minutes. Platanias has a good variety of shops, bar, restaurants to choose from, but our favourite by far was the SUN RISE BEACH RESTAURANT. Great food, generous portions, value for money and absolutely friendly team.

A great place for swimming, eating well and having summer fun with the family. It is also easy to make day trips to e.g. Hania, Rethymno or other towns by bus. There is also a fun waterpark Limnoupolis nearby.

Platanias is a haven to stay.
Platanias is a haven to stay. It is very clean and safe to stay. The views of the beach are magnificent. Food are varied and available in many restaurants. Transportations are easily accessible. And the people are very friendly. Compared to other cities in Europe, it is less expensive here.
The location of the hotel is great. Close to restaurants, shops, beaches.
Rooms are clean and renovated. They change towels and bed lines every three days.
On a kitchen you will find everything you need to cook.

I went to Platanias Beach. It is small pebbles and sand beach. It is better to have a swimming shoes.
There is another beach – Agia Marina which is a sand beach. But I didn't go there.
Sea water is clean and nice.
We liked it because it's a simple place, but it has everything we need, the staff are very kind, she made the best pizza for us.
We walked to the main street and there are bars, supermarkets, restaurants, entertainment for everyone!
We saw a beautiful sunset in front of the beach! :D We recommend renting a car if you want to go to the center of Chania, or to different beaches, caves, there is always parking nearby.
Great hotel, in a lovely location. Short taxi to the stunning Chania and within walking distance of some excellent restaurants. Would recommend the walk up the hill to Old Town Platanias for the best food and views.
Hotel was clean, modern and the staff were excellent. Always sun beds available at the pool, without any of the putting towels down to reserve beds nonsense.
The location is amazing, bang in the centre of Platanias and literally at the beach. Easy taxi drive from Chania as well. The outside facilities, especially the pools, are amazing, well maintained and super clean, and great for kids. The staff was more than lovely, kind and helpful and the room was very clean. We had a lovely stay.
The hotel is situated in Platanias near restaurants, shops, cafés etc. The beach was really close and there is a medium size pool. The person working at the reception was very kind and helpful. They let us use the pool and shower after our check-out. There's a parking spot thats useful for rented cars and scooters.
