I wish I could have experienced Piraeus, I travel a lot and so does lots of my friends. But I wasn't given the opportunity to stay there. My money was just taken. With no accommodation. Even for my need of a room on my return to Greece on Sunday June 23rd, 2024.

If you are arriving from a cruise.
If you are arriving from a cruise. It’s the perfect place to stay. As it’s just a few yard from the port. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. But if you prefer to stay within the city center. It’s nine or ten stop from city center via metro.

I can't comment on Piraeus as a destination in its own right. Like most people I pass through it on the way to or from a ferry. It's a convenient place to overnight but isn't the most attractive part of Athens.

A tip is to get a ticket for the Acropolis then go back later. There was a long line to get in once we got to the top, the wait time was 3 hours to enter. We were not able to enter.

Piraeus is a work-a-day town with nothing special to see.
Piraeus is a work-a-day town with nothing special to see. The main reason people stay here is to take the ferry or a cruise ship. We stayed at the Glaros Hotel, which is a basic accommodation that I would not stay at again. I recommend staying in Athens or another local town.

Disregard comment on missing items from bag previously made.
Disregard comment on missing items from bag previously made. They reviewed footage and no one touched my bag. So it must have been in Athens when some souvenirs were taken. Loved the location of this hotel and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind.
Great location for anyone needing to access the ferries, a quick walk to the port and surrounded by restaurants, coffee houses, shops etc. in teeming Piraeus. The front desk staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful, with a particular salute to the wonderful Anastasia, who seems to embody all of the vivacious warmth and hospitality that makes Greece one of the greatest destinations in the world. This is a modest hotel, so don't expect the Ritz. But everything required for a comfortable stay is there for you.
Room was newly done, did book 2 double rooms but got given a twin. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing unless you like bread or toast with no butter, there was cereal and cooked with vegetables.
Had dinner which was lovely good choice sit in or out.
Hotel booked taxi to airport sadly the driver had awful bo which was not nice for an hours drive and charged us more that a taxi from the street. Charged us 60 euros even thoigh the meter said 52 euros.
The room view was incredible. The bathroom is small, but manageable. I liked the room layout and the bed was very comfortable for us. There is a lot to do just walking in the area. The hotel arranged a rental car which was inexpensive with pickup/dropoff at the hotel for convenience. Breakfast was great. Staff were available 24 hours a day which helped us as our flights through Athens were late at night and very early in the morning.
All receptionists were lovely, they allowed us to store our luggage at reception before and after check in/out times to explore the city more freely. Also we got an amazing room with views of Athens and the mountains.
The hotel is next to the metro station with two direct lines to the city center and the airport.
Everything is super new and clean, including the sauna and the roof top terrace.
Close to the port and the metro station. Was an old style Hotel but had all the basic anemities. I was travelling alone so the room I had was big enough. 24 hour reception, someone always available and helpful at the front desk. Great value especially for a quick stay for me coming and going to and coming back from different Aegean islands.
Very well located !, you can go to piraeus port by foot , staff are super nice and responsive, we asked for an extra bed and they never hesitated to provide us with one 😍😍! It is very clean, they even gave us samples of soap and shower gels even though the hotel is a two star hotel.
Excellent boutique hotel.... polite helpful staff especially George.. while it may not be very close to the port, they offer a complimentary shuttle service. Certainly it's a great option to stay in Athens before proceeding onwards to the Cyclades
A very professional hotel. Nice large room allocated, dinner in hotel was very good. Staff were all excellent. No complaints at all. I've given a high mark for location because we needed to be near the port - that might not be everyone's choice.
The only thing we liked is that you are near Piraeus port. You don't get ripped off by the taxi drivers. ( A curse in Athens). The hotel has done some makeup in the rooms. I am talking about room 401, but there is still a lot to improve.
Extremely professional and friendly staff. The hotel is in a perfect position opposite to the bus stop and sea. The hotel is fitted out beautifully and we will definitely book there again when visiting Greece.
I found the location very convenient for my journey. It is close to the bus stop for the airport bus and within a short walk of shops and shipping offices.
I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Modern new hotel with big comfy beds. Large room. Easy to find from port gates. In centre for exploring and getting metro to athens. Clean. Good shower. Efficient helpful staff. Tea coffee set.
Lovely , clean , modern hotel near all major attractions , shops, cafe , restaurants. Close to Piraeus port for ferry access to Greek islands .
Fantastic staff are extremely helpful and attentive.
One mile from the ferry port, we stayed one night on way back to Athens. Great hotel for the price. Room was clean spacious and comfortable. Some local taverns and super market in walking distance.
We came via the Metro and walked to the Hotel. Could be us but it sets back in from the Port area which made it hard to find using Google map. Friendly at a good price.
