We received a very warm welcome from the staff and they also had a little goodie bag with Easter treats waiting for us in our huge room. The room was very quiet and private with own private parking/entrance and beautiful view. The breakfast options were homemade and fresh served at the veranda overlooking the beautiful bay.

The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the views from the balcony utterly gorgeous.
Our drive from Athens was Aprox 5 hrs . We opted to stay one night on the way to Neon Oitilon. (Sarandon hotel) 1.5 hrs from Athens airport. The drive to Neon Oitilon then took aprox 3hrs (Tolled motor way each way ) (12 tolls @€1•95- 2.25 )very good roads until you reach Neon Oitilon .(Typical narrow country roads lead down to the village.)
The motorway offers a number of good rest stops .
We had a 4 night stay . Neon Oitilon is a small sea side village - nestled between to large escarpments. There are great drives and walks. Spectacular scenery . We had hot days and cool evenings . Light jacket is advised for the cooler evenings and am. (May 2022)
Apparently it can get cool in the evenings during the height of the season. The AM soon warmed up .
There are some nice villages in the surrounding area : Limeni and Aeropolis are a Aprox 5 and 15 min drive
The journey to -
Gythio and surrounding areas are aprox a 20 -25 min drive.
Here you will find a large selection of nice beaches and restaurants. Spectacular scenery all
the way .
We tried a few restaurants in all the areas we visited. Our favourite beach place was straw beach followed by Glyfada beach in Gythio. Limeni
Village has a good choice of Restaurants and eateries / bars .

A charming village where life goes on as it has done for centuries. We felt lucky to be welcomed. There is a little cafe in the square - where they also do traditional Greek dishes. Not short of churches either!

If someone wants to discover a different kind of Greece, Mani Peninsula is the right way to do it. The grouper fish is amazing in the area, but you may find other local specialties - try everything, they are quite delighting! And don't hesitate to discover the local people as well - most of them you will definitely remember!

Very conveniently located.
Very conveniently located. During our visit, we used Neon Oitilon as a base and every day we visited a different place in the area. It has a very good beach and it is very close to Limeni and Areopolis where you can find more options for restaurants.

Is a small city but has a nice beach with easy parking and easy to access water to swim.
No many choices to eat. We had the opportunity to have good food at our hotel. No many choices for night life.
Do not drive through kalamata but through sparring.
We made reservations for the top floor room which also had a tiny attic with two single beds! Ideal for families. Apart from the attic another bonus point is the balcony! It was huge with an amazing sea view. Made us want to stay in sometimes and cook a nice meal. The kitchen is also suitable for minimal cooking and Ilias, the owner was so friendly and accommodating! The hotel is also pet friendly which is a main criteria for us! Will definitely go back!
Very nice staff (Maria welcomed us and was very helpful during our stay). The hotel is located in a nice bay, direct access to the sea (beach with stones), and a nice swimming poolarea. Breakfast variety and quality is good (not exceptional). The rooms with seaview have a nice terrasse and very spatious (we had an upgrade, so I believe not all rooms are the same).

Room was spotless, comfortable and huge, with nice and polite staff and fast check in/out. Housekeeping services was attentive, hotel had also a very clean and beautiful pool and the restaurant had delicious dishes. Hotel also had a fully equipped business center. The outdoor space can be used for events and celebrations. We went for hiking and cycling and it was fantastic, the area around the hotel was perfect for these activities.
Impressive hotel, professional services and the unique atmosphere guarantee an unforgettable stay experience. Suite had double comfy bed with comfortable mattress and pillows. Bathroom was spotless and had everything we needed (towels, toilet papers etc). Staff was mannerly and friendly and the rates were fair. Definitely I'll be back again next year!
We stayed in Alkyon SeaSide studios for four nights. Family of 5 with two rooms. Rooms are new, big and comfortable. There is a small beach 50 meters from the hotel. Air conditioning was good enough during July hot temperatures. Very good home made breakfast. Great service. Location is good although it is a little on the side of the bay.
Very nice and clean boutique hotel ( only five rooms), right on the sea even if there are rocks there’s the possibility to access the crystal blue waters. Staff is super kind and helpful, breakfast is really tasty and rich. Location is close to Aeropoli and perfect to travel around astonishing Mani region.
The hotel and room were beautiful with a fantastic balcony facing the sea. The pool and deck area were very relaxing and a great place to spend the afternoon. The town was a nice short walk for dinners along with the hotel being right on the beach made the location perfect.
The hotel is absolutely fabulous with stunning views and great breakfast. The pool is super instagrammable thought not heated. The quality of materials and the architectural design and implementation is very high , with customly made design details. Stunning interiors.
Location is wonderful if you want the feel of the village. The home is traditional, clean and has everything you need. The beds could use a little soft topper but we have found that this is Greece when it comes to beds. We would stay here again.
