Although it was about a 15/20 minute walk to the harbour and the old town, the hotel was only a 3 minute walk to Nea Chora beach. Where there were plenty of restaurants which were a lot cheaper than the ones near the harbour and the old town. The food was inexpensive and very good value.
The hotel room was very spacious with a lovely balcony. Very good value for money. Good air conditioning. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
Every Thursday there is a market on the road in front of the hotel selling fruit,vegetables and clothes.

After an emergency visit and stay to the hospital with my wife I stayed here for 5 nights, the staff were fantastic and were super helpful and couldn't do enough for me. Even made my wife some takeaway lunches as she didn't enjoy the hospital food, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
I did manage to get in the pool one afternoon too, it was amazing!
